The Emmy Award and Golden Globe winning critically acclaimed television series on AMC “Mad Men” has arose audiences everywhere with their drama series. Matthew Weiner is in production of the new Season 5 of Mad Men and is in constant search of the right extras, featured extras, stand-ins, and possible new actors for Season 6. The cable network AMC is in for a commenced hit with this new season by blowing ratings out of the water.
The series centers around an advertising agency on Madison Avenue in NYC in the 1960s called Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce. Don Draper, the main boss of the story, is played by none other than Jon Hamm. The talented Hamm is not only the focal actor of the series but also has a lot of input on the stories itself. The series evaluates and brings to surface the changing social and demographical disposition of the 60’s era. All of the episodes have subsequently been shot in Los Angeles Center Studios in HD, and Matthew Weiner is responsible for being the executive producer and head writer of the show.
The lead characters include Don Draper, played by Jon Hamm, Peggy Olson, played by Elisabeth Moss, Pete Campbell, played by Vincent Kartheiser, Berry Francis, played by January Jones, and Roger Sterling played by John Slattery. With some characters usually killed off or not recurring in series that last this long, 5 seasons, the casting directors and the production is looking to book more actors to be on set. Whether they are booking extras or supporting characters you are encouraged to apply. All ages and all ethnicities are welcome. No younger than 4 years old to apply.
