AMC’s famous drama series ‘Halt and Catch Fire’ has announced a casting call for extras to play the role of restaurant patrons for a restaurant scene in their upcoming episode that is scheduled to be filmed on 26^th May, Thursday in the city of Atlanta, Georgia.

About ‘Halt and Catch Fire’

‘Halt and Catch Fire’ is an American drama series produced by Christopher C. Rogers and Christopher Cantwell. It went on air on AMC on 1^st June, 2014. The drama centers on the backdrop of the 1983 era in the Silicon Prairie, Texas. This series revolves around the subject of personal computer mutiny.

The plot

The main plot of ‘Halt and Catch Fire’ begins from the time when it’s been one year after IBM left the market taking back its signature personal computer – the IBM PC. Joe MacMillan (Lee Pace), who is a previous IBM employee, steps in and decides to reverse engineer the signature creation of his ex-boss. He then compels his current organization ‘Cardiff Electric’ to indulge in the battle of personal computers.

Look specifications (men):

Applicants should be young and have a hip look to fit in the role of a restaurant patron of 1986 period.
Male talents having mustaches and sideburns will be preferred for the role.
All men applying for the role must have hair that can fit in the look of 1986 period.

Look specifications (women):

All women applying for the role should have a trendy look that can suit the role of a restaurant patron.
Female talents having natural hair color and shoulder length to bob cut hair, will be preferred for the role.

Note: Casting directors are also hiring experienced extras for the roles of waiter, restaurant staff and bartender.
