Don’t you love musicals? If you have a passion for musicals and love theatrical performances and performing in them, then this is your chance. Hair the musical is coming to town and it has just placed a casting call for everyone in Kenosha, WI.

The auditions will be for the complete musical and will be held in Kenosha, Wisconsin during the first week of December. Currently the casting directors are looking for 8 people to cast in main roles. They need 4 male and 4 females for the musical, and it should be noted that all roles are going to be adult only (18 and above). You can only be invited to auditions through an appointment. So please check the instructions for the submission in order to confirm your audition appointment.

About the Musical

The musical ‘Hair’ is one of the most renowned musicals going around today, and actually won the Tony Award in 1968 for being the Best Musical (nominated) and also won Best Revival of a Musical (Musical) in 2009. The main theme of the musical resolves around some hippies who are looking for truth, love and peace. The musical is exuberant, and is still as popular as it was back in 1967. The show includes outstanding musical numbers such as Good Morning Starshine, What a Piece of Work is Man, I Believe in Love, and Aquarius, which bring an incredible power and meaningful beauty onto the stage of this American musical classic.

Casting Call

The casting directors are currently looking for 4 men and 4 women (all 18+). They also require a further one dozen men and women to play the ‘Tribe’ in the musical.

Audition Location & Dates

You can only come for an audition if you have got an appointment.

In order to submit your audition application, please send your email to Audition@RhodeCenter.org along with the audition dates and times.

The auditions will be held on the following dates:

December 1st at 7pm or 8pm

December 2nd at 7 pm pr 8 pm

December 3rd at 7 pm or 8 pm

You will receive a callback if you have been selected.

Anyone that has been invited to audition for the callback should know at least 1 or more of the following songs, including the voice part / desired roles.

The Performances

The overall performances of the musical will be held in March on the following dates:

March 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26

Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm
Sundays at 2:00pm
