Saddle up Disneyland fans because ABC has picked up a new television pilot based on the popular ride Big Thunder Mountain. Located at Disney parks in California, Florida, Paris and Toyko the iconic runaway train coaster will serve as inspiration to writers Chris Morgan ( Fast and the Furious) and Jason Fuchs (Ice Age: Continental Drift). We have learned that the casting directors are now taking applications for male and female actors of all ages to play several roles in the exciting new ABC pilot. This is your opportunity to work with not only ABC but Disney as well. Do not miss out on your chance and apply now.
The ride takes guests into an abandoned mining town set in the American southwest of the Gold Rush. As with many Disney attractions, a disaster happens on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad that throws the ride into the chaos characterizing a runway train coaster. Depending on the version, the train and its passengers encounter earthquakes, flash flood or a tsunami – not to mention the oddball details along the way. Not much is known about the plot of Big Thunder Mountain is known but with the huge success that Disney had with turning the Pirates of the Caribbean ride into an ongoing movie series we are sure that the show will be a hit.
Castings directors at ABC and Disney are now taking applications for both union and non union actors for several supporting and extra roles for Big Thunder Mountain so do not miss out your once in a lifetime chance.
