Marvel has finally announced castings for its new movie Captain America: Winter Soldier. Captain America 2 takes place after The Avengers movie which is somewhat obvious since he was frozen in a big block of ice and not exactly able to do much before The Avengers movie and the first Captain America film covered his origins. Marvel has announced that Captain American will be released in theaters on April 4 2014 and star Chris Evans, reprising his role as Steve Rogers/Captain America, and franchise newcomers Anthony Mackie in the role of the Falcon and Frank Grillo as Crossbones. Also we will see Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill. The casting directors are now taking applications for several extra roles in the new film. This is a great opportunity for anyone that is looking to break into to acting industry.
Captain America woke up after decades being preserved on ice, allowing him to maintain his youth in modern times, Winter Soldier was kept in stasis by the Russians in between missions which prevented him from aging over the years as well. In the books, Winter Soldier crosses paths with the Cosmic Cube and key characters including Black Widow.
Captain America will be shot in Cleveland, Ohio, Washington, DC, New Mexico and California and this is your opportunity to audition. The casting directors are looking for several actors to serve as extras in the movie, if you are interested in auditioning please submit your information along with a photo and a brief resume. My life long dream is to be in a marvel movie as a marvel hero. I am an aspiring actor and I was an extra in grown ups 2.
