Is Jessica Chastain one of your favorite movie actresses? Have you dreamed of getting a chance to work with her? Well this may be the perfect opportunity for you, because she is now headed off to New Mexico for her new film, “Woman Walks Ahead” and casting directors are looking for actors suited for speaking roles.

About the Movie

The movie is based on the true story of a woman named Catherine Weldon, a widow from Brooklyn. She decides to travel to Standing Rock Reservation in Dakota Territory in order to help the Native American leader, Sitting Bull, keep his land from the government taking it over. It is because of her efforts and continued support of the Native Americans that the people start calling her Woman Walking Ahead. The movie is a detailed account of the events of the past, what took place and the courage of that one woman.

About the Role

The casting directors are looking for men, women and children of the Lakota Descent who are locals of the New Mexico area. It would be an added bonus if the people are able to converse in the Lakota language. Keep in mind that the roles are for Lakota descendants only and people other than that would not be considered.

Do you think you or someone you know has what it takes to be a part of this production? If yes, then email your picture along with name, phone number, location and email address to info@midthundercasting.com. Be sure to send in your details as soon as possible.
