Showtime is filming their brand new series The Chi and they need of child models and actors for upcoming scenes. Casting directors are specifically searching for boys and girls ages 1 to 8 years old. This shoot is for the second episode in the first season set to premiere in the fall.
About
The Chi is a coming-of-age story that revolves around a group of people living on the South Side of Chicago. The series is written by Lena Waithe, known for her work in Bones and Master of None. The producer of the show is the famous rapper/actor Common. Common is known not only for his music, but his acting and producing ability as well. He is one of the main characters in the long-running AMC series, Hell on Wheels and has been nominated for several awards for that role.
One of the main stars in the show will be Jason Mitchell from the hit movie Straight Outta Compton. In The Chi, Mitchell plays a young man with dreams of opening a restaurant in the South Side of Chicago. Although he is very motivated to follow his dreams, he is held back by a rough family life in a neighborhood riddled with crime and poverty.
