They’re back and no you are not dreaming! New series “Dallas” is back on television and on the highly viewed network TNT! Casting directors are booked new talent for “Dallas” TV Show 2012 Auditions.  The Ewing family is showcased with this new generation of cousins and brothers and sisters. John Ross Ewing and Christopher Ewing fight over their oil business that their family has had for years. The vast fortune is what keeps them fighting amongst each other. Director David Jacobs is back doing it again with the new rendition of this hit TV Show from the early 80s and 90s. “Dallas” stars Josh Henderson, as John Ross Ewing, and Jessie Metcalfe, for Christopher Ewing.  Josh Henderson is use to acting on the TV screen and the big screen. As an actor he is known for his work on the TV Series 90210 as the recurring role of Sean Cavanaugh, as well as playing one of the lead characters Brett Dolan in the 2006 box office hit “Step Up” alongside Channing Tatum. And everyone knows the hottie Jessie Metcalfe is throwing audiences for a loop with his good looks from Desperate Housewives as the recurring role of John Rowland and in the NBC cancelled TV Series “Chase”. “Dallas” also stars Jordana Brewster as Elena Ramos, and Julie Gonzalo and Rebecca Sutter.

The show premiered this past month and filming is still underway for this first season along with the rest of the planned seasons. It has been one of TNT’s biggest successes throughout the years. Locations are in Dallas, but some of the shots do take place in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York depending on the scenes. Casting directors are looking for talent of all ages to take part as photo doubles, stand-ins, extras, and some possible recurring roles. The original “Dallas” was before our times but who could forget their parents or family members watching the TV hit. Make sure to find a casting department near you to send your resume, headshot, and application in. Casting directors will sift through all of the major possibilities and call talent whom they are interested in. You do not have to be a SAG actor to be considered.   2. I have always been a huge fan of the TV show “Dallas” , the original and the new show. I have worked as an extra in the films “The Last Castle” and “The New World.” I am currently working in a few plays with the Denton Community Theatre in Texas. I am 38 years old but look 28.

  3. I am interested in auditioning for any role, or as an extra for the upcoming filming of “Dallas”. I have been in a few feature films as a featured extra or background extra, and have been a lead role on an Indie Feature film. I have done a feature role on the film “Olympus Has Fallen” with director Antoine Fuqua. I have also attended acting classes, as well as workshops. I also have 14 years of law enforcement training, and weapons training. I am more than happy and willing to send Headshot and Resume.

  5. I have just seen the finale of the Dallas TV show that I played on as an extra. I was playing beside Linda Gray during her governor speech. I found that part to be fun and I looked good on TV.
    I would like to be an extra again. I have done a documentary for Verizon for 30 minutes. Did a talk show for 40 minutes on business and law on channel 21 and have done a commercial for Amex insuance Agency in Dallas for 30 seconds. I did a voice over and was the main actor. I also did a radio show called Premium Solutions on KSKY Dallas for 10 weeks.

Recently, I played the security officer in the movie “The Dilemma,” directed by Ron Howard. As well, I have attended numerous acting classes at Act One acting school.
