I can sing, write, and imitate just about any voice there is. I was a 2nd soprano in choir however my voice is sort of high pitch but also low register and raspy at times. Needless to say I sound youthful and have been told I have a unique speaking voice.

Ten months ago I released a video to one of my spoken word poems on youtube, type in “We Need To Talk | spoken word| Conrad Van @Conreazzy.” Although we shot the main scene for about 2-3 hours, for each take I had to bring it! And part of that video was lip-synced. Call me into the studio and let me try a role, and if you are not satisfied, I’ll walk out, no hard feelings … it’s all love.
I am just in shock that there is going to be another Despicable Me!! I have seen both movies like a thousand times and I am just in love with all of the character! I am 12 years old and looking for a big break. People always say that I make some of the best voices and I can sometime be super dramatic! Drama and acting are things that I love to do! As a kid, I always loved stories. Didn’t we all? But the thing about stories that made me want to keep watching were always the actors. The emotion that shone through their voices and eyes. That kept you glued to the screen. The simple pause or hitch in their line that made you want to laugh, cry, hug them and hit them all at once. Although, compared to most I am considered an inexperienced actor, I am by no means new to the trade. I’ve been in multiple plays in my community as well as practiced radiowork with one of the most respected companies in the area (Good Company Players). I also have experience singing and dancing every thursday through sunday onstage with the same great foundation that launched the stars Audra MacDonald and Chris Colfer. My heart belongs to acting, but experience as a director, secretary, and medical missions trip volunteer have made me no stranger to hard work. Currently I am a student at UC Berkeley (which is just 30 minutes outside of San Francisco) and will be taking film classes this fall. I play the violin and speak spanish, occasionally at the same time, and have performed in orchestra at school as well as parties for friends and family. All in all, I love the acting business (and even more the voice over business) because it gives people a chance to influence lives. The world is filled with gifted storytellers, and the more life actors can bring to their stories the more people they reach, touch and entertain. I have had an extensive amount of training, that I regrettably say was not worth anything. at age 10 I auditioned John Robert Powers, where I landed a huggies commercial on the first day, by saying something I knew nothing about “Huggies, the one thing that doesn’t ride up in your crouch”. at that moment an L.A. Commercial Director contacted me to ask if I could do the Huggies commercial, but unfortunately John Robert Powers had asked for almost 6 thousand dollars to agree for the commercial with training. Next came John Casablanca’s, which I had friends from my school attend, who told me it was not worth it. after all of the disappointments, I had no support from my adopted parents or anyone else, I want allowed to join theater until I moved out in 9th grade, when I claimed to be emancipated. since then nothing has happened except for the dozen of theater and choral performances at Fuquay-Varina High School and in the beginning of my senior year hillside high school. as of late I have only been able to land a role as an extra for the television series, Longmire (season 3, season finally. since age 7, acting has been all I knew and all i’ve wanted and acting upon this it I have spent more than 12 years to try to purse my life long goal. I ask for no sympathy, but my life has been quite difficult, I would just like an opportunity to show what i’ve got and to be the best that I can be.
