Extras Open Casting Call for Cinema Series Banshee
Cinema has moved its drama series, Banshee, to Pittsburgh and will be hosting a casting call for extras today. Season 4 of Cinema’s hit show will begin filming this April and will continue through August.
The Cinemax hit show centers around Lucas Hood, an ex-con and master thief, who takes on the identity of Banshee’s new sheriff. But Hood finds himself struggling to stay on the right side of the law and soon finds himself implementing his own brand of justice while engaging in criminal pursuits.
Banshee was created by Jonathan Tropper (This Is Where I Leave You) and David Schickler (Banshee Origins).
The series stars Anthony Starr as Lucas Hood; Ivana Milicevic as Carrie Hopewell, an ex-master thief turned devoted wife and mother; Ulrich Thomsen as Kai Proctor, a powerful drug lord; Hoon Lee as Job, a master hacker, forger and thief.
Eliza Dushku will be joining Banshee this season as Veronica Dawson, a sexy and tough as nails but shockingly reckless FBI profiler who finds herself joining forces with sheriff Hood in order to hunt down a killer.
This season Cinemax added several cast members as season regulars, Chris Coy and Mathew Rauch. Chris Coy portrays Calvin Bunker the brother of Kurt Bunker (Banshee’s new deputy) and Matthew Rauch plays Clay Burton, Kai Proctor’s confidant and bodyguard.
Nancy Mosser Casting will be seeking Extras, Stand-ins and Photo-doubles who are 18 and above. Extras will be needed to fill the roles of townspeople, press types, police department background and character types.
