An undercover Navy Intelligence officer and a DEA agent were placed to investigate one another in the brand new film “2 Guns”. As the story plays out both find out that they have actually been set up by the mob. The audience later learns that the mob is who the government believes the two agents have actually been stealing money from. The story unfolds into an action-crime-drama-thriller that is actually based off of a Comic. Director of “Contraband”, who has previously worked as a producer on the 2012 box-office hit “Contraband”. In turn, after meeting actor Mark Wahlberg on the set of “Contraband” he requested to have him read for the part of one of the main characters in the film “2 Guns”. Denzel Washington and Paula Patton are also part of the project.
“2 Guns” is based on a Steven Grand graphic novel published by Boom! Studios. Rumor is that this film project will place Denzel back into the edgy controversial bad cop good cop role.
