Feature Film Hot Summer Nights Casting Call for Female Extras

The feature film Hot Summer Nights is currently filming in the Atlanta area and is seeking a female extra to portray the perfect housewife in an upcoming film shoot.

The Hollywood Reporter calls Hot Summer Nights a coming-of-age drama that will be set in the year 1991 and follows the life of a teenager who befriends the town rebel and consequently his life spirals out of control.  In the course of one hot and stormy summer in the Cape he falls madly in love, gets involved with an unsavory people and ends up entangled in a drug ring.

A Deadline article reports that this will be Elijah Bynum’s Directorial debut with his script, Hot Summer Nights, which has been on ‘The Black list’ since 2013. Many writers never get the opportunity to make The Black List, which is an annual survey that lists the ‘most liked’ unproduced screenplays and has been published every December since 2004. Bynum landed two scripts on The Black List in 2013, Hot Summer Nights and the other being Mississippi Mud.

Hot Summer Nights will star Maika Monroe the star of the horror flick It Follows and the star of the upcoming film The 5^th Wave, which is slated for a January 2016 release. Monroe is currently filming Independence Day 2: Resurgence in New Mexico. Upon completion of Independence Day 2 Monroe will join Bynum later this month to begin Filming and will star opposite Timothee Chalamet (who is best known for his roles Interstellar and Worst Friends) and Alex Roe (who is best known for his roles in Sniper: Legacy and The Cut).

The casting team with CL Casting has released a casting call for a female extra to portray an ideal wife. The casting team is seeking a female between the ages of 30 -40. Interested talent must have full availability and must be local to the Atlanta area.
