Emily Owens, M.D.- CW Castings

The CW is picking up five drama series for its 2012-13 schedule one of them being Emily Owens, M.D. The series is from CBS TV Studios and WBTV with executive producers Jennie Snyder (Gilmore Girls)  Urman, Dan Jinks and Bharat Nalluri, who directed the pilot that was originaly named First Cut. The show is going to be similar to Greys Anatomy with Smallville alum Justin Hartley playing the lead role of a surgical intern who all the guys want to be and all the girls want to be with. The casting directors at CW are currently looking for union and non union talent to play several supporting roles in Emily Owens, M.D. This is a great opportunity for anyone that is looking to break into the acting industry.

Emily Owens, M.D. follows the life of Emily Owens (Mamie Gummer), who is a first-year intern at Denver Memorial Hospital, where she realizes that her med-school crush Will Collins (Hartley) and her high school nemesis Cassandra Kopelson (Aja Naomi King) also work. Emily is not only the new kid once again, but real life is also just as awkward as high school. Following over two decades of education, she finally got out into the real world of adulthood and experienced things that she could only dream about before. But that dream turned into a nightmare.

The directors are now looking for several roles to play in the new series.
