FOX series Empire casting call for stand-ins in Chicago

Music. Family. Power. The Battle Begins. FOX series Empire is a unique serialized drama that centers on the music and life of a Hip Hop dynasty. The Show stars Terrence Howard as Lucious Lyon and Taraji P. Henson as his ex-wife Cookie Lyon, rounding out the Family is Jussie Smollet as Jamal Lyon, Trai Byers as Andre Lyon, and Bryshere Gray as Hakeem Lyon (This is Gray’s debut as an actor). The Hip Hop drama is the brainchild of Oscar Nominated director Lee Daniels who directed films Precious and Butler

Empire is currently filming the Chicago area. The extras casting team for Empire released a casting call for an African American female, 5’1 and under (slender build) to work as a stand-in tomorrow on “Empire.”

I think I was born to act. I am just plain old me but I am determined, ambitious, eager to learn and ready and itching to begin my career as an actress with two of the most admired actors EVER. Terrance Howard and Taraji P. WOW…. can it get any better. I have raw talent and I believe that I could become an asset to your show. I’m 18 years old from the chicagoland area born and raised. I’ve taken acting classes for about 2 1/2 years in high school. I attended Homewood Flossmoor High school from 2010-2014. I’ve been a big fan of the show already I love cookie. I just feel that I can be an asset to the show by bringing in my raw talents to the first season of Empire.
