Gatorade Commercial Casting Athletes and Models

Casting directors are now casting actors to work on scenes filming in Bastrop, Texas. Producers are casting featured roles to play a man named Todd and all types of athletic extras for a Gatorade commercial set to broadcast during an NFL game and on BleacherReport.com

About

The Gatorade Company is an American manufacturer of sports-themed beverage and products.  It is known worldwide as one of the best drinks before, during, and after sporting events to help in prep and recovery of things lost in sweat.  It is meant to energize and prepare athletes for fierce competition.

The popular drink was formulated in 1965 by a team of scientists at the University of Florida.  It originally was called, “Gator-Aid” because the University of Florida’s mascot is the gator, but they changed it to a stylized Gatorade to avoid the regulations with being mistaken for a type of medicine.  Today it is known around the world and often seen in major sporting events, especially during the Super Bowl when it became popular to dump an orange Gatorade cooler onto the winning team’s coach. This commercial will be similar to the ones they have produced previously, but this one will involve hockey players.
