Portland themed NBC show Grimm has been renewed for a third season. These news should now come as a supirise given the popularity of the past two season of the popular television show. The show is inspired by the classic Brothers Grimm fairy tales, Grimm stars David Giuntoli as Nick Burkhardt, a detective who is a descendant of the Grimms and is charged with policing both humans and the mythological creatures from the fairytales viewers read as children. Season 1 of Grimm averaged 6.4 million viewers and this is your chance to audition for several extra and stand in roles for the NBC television show. NBC ordered 22 more episodes of the show with the filming slated to start soon. The casting directors are NBC are now taking actor submissions for male and female actors of all ages. As Nick develops his ability to harness his inner Grimm, he begins to question what he once knew, never more so than when he is reunited with his mother (guest star Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, “Scarface”), also a Grimm, whom he thought dead for the past 20 years. Reggie Lee (“The Dark Knight Rises”) and Sasha Roiz (“Caprica”) also star as Sgt. Wu and Captain Renard, respectively.
Grimm was picked up for 22 new episodes and will air on the Tuesday time slot.

I’ve actually been an extra already back in April 2012 although it seems that episode didn’t air. I had given my information to Leandra Collier Casting. It was a wonderful but very exhausting experience. I played a person at a city fair where a bigfoot person type person showed up beat up a cop and then everyone ran away. We did that.. 20 times. I wouldn’t mind repeating the experience. I’m not interested in getting into acting, but do love the mechanics of filmmaking. I can tell that actors work incredibly hard. I was so excited to hear the networks decided to renew the show for the it’s third season. All of us Grimmsters are thrilled! I heard of the show in the very beginning through Bitsie Tulloch’s father. I volunteered with him at a Medical Clinic. We needed a new show like this!! I know I would be an asset to your show.
