Imagine- Al Pacino

Al Pacinos new movie Imagine has gained some serious star power. Writer Dan Fogelman’s (“Crazy, Stupid, Love.”) directorial debut, will starJeremy Renner (“The Hurt Locker”) Julianne Moore(“Children of Men”) alongside Al Pacino(“The Recruit”). The film’s storyline sees Pacino’s character, inspired by Lennon’s letter, give up his debauched life as an arena-packing rock star with a girlfriend far too young for him. Fogelman’s screenplay was initially sold to studio Warner Bros for $3m, with Steve Carell attached to the Pacino role. It is now being produced independently and will seek to pick up funding at the upcoming American Film Market in Santa Barbara next month. The casting direcotrs are now looking for several talent to play extras in Imagine and this is your opportunity to apply.

The story centers on an aging 1970s rocker (Pacino) who discovers an undelivered letter written to him when he was 19 by John Lennon that spurs him to straighten his life out and connect with the son (Renner) he’s never known. Moore will play the owner of a small New Jersey hotel where the rocker takes up residence. This will mark Pacino’s second rocker role in recent memory, as he’s also playing Phil Spector in David Mamet’s biopic, which is still waiting to see a release from HBO. But if big hair is required, Pacino can do it.

Castings for Imagine have not yet started but the directors are now looking for male and female actors to play extras in the new film. If you are interested please submit your application along with a photo and a brief resume. Please keep checking back often for more information on casting dates and times.
