King Kong is the colossal ape created in 1933 when the original film was released. Since then, multiple remakes have been produced. Kong has become a staple in American film and media since his creation. The newest movie titled, Kong: Skull Island, stars Oscar Winning actress Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, and actor Tom Hiddleston.

It takes place in the 1970’s when a team of explorers ventures deep into an uncharted island. The scenery is beautiful and their discoveries are plenty, but they are unaware that Kong inhabits the island. The newest edition into the King Kong series will be a high action thriller with amazing visuals and intense action sequences. The release date is March 10th, 2018.
Legendary Pictures just released the first two official posters for the film. Needless to say, the new Kong looks epic. Based on the photos, this is the largest Kong has ever been. The creators of Skull Island did create the latest Godzilla movie, so it is really no surprise that they decided to make King Kong this large.
Acting Opportunities
The latest addition into the world famous King Kong series is also now casting extras to play various roles in the movie.
All actors must be comfortable around smoke because it will be used in the scene. It is set in the 1970’s, so you will have to play that part and act like you are from that era. Doing research beforehand on the behaviors of people in the 1970’s might boost your chances at landing a role. It never hurts to practice before auditions. Also, if you have wool allergies, do not apply. The clothing you will wear will be made out of wool. This is a great opportunity for payment and experience!
