Oscar winner and famous actor Nicolas Cage who has starred in many blockbuster films has signed up to star in a reboot of Kirk Camerons Left Behind. Left Behind” is the first installment of a 16-book series by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins about the adventures of the sinners left on earth after the Rapture. The series, first published 1995-2007 by Tyndale House, has sold more than 65 million copies around the world. The movie will focus on a group of survivors during the first few hours after the Rapture. The budget of the film is in the $15 million range, and its production is likely to begin in early spring with casting and auditions currently taking place. Ahsley Tisdale will be joining Cage and playing Chloe Steele, the daughter of Cage’s Ray Steele character. After millions of people suddenly disappear from Earth, Chloe wanders America looking to find any remaining members of her family. Chad Michael Murray will playing the role of journalist Cameron “Buck” Williams. Left Behind is set for a late 2013 premier.

I love work that has to do with post world endings, and a group of survivors in it. It shows how different types of people must either come together to adjust to the new surroundings or how they’ll try to rebuild what once was.
Although I am you being 20 years old, I have been involved slightly with acting. All through high school, my work included, 2 plays: “Check, Please”, and “Mary Girard”, and then a musical called “Big River”. I did a play outside of school called “Where’s Bartholomew” I was the lead. I am enrolled at Savannah College of Art and Design, where my majors consist of Film/Television and a minor in Performing Arts. Nicholas Cage is amazing. All the movies he acts in are amazing. So I’m pretty much betting on “left behind” being amazing! I’d love to have a chance to be in this movie and take notes from one of the best!
I have seen the first versions of this movie and know that I could play a few roles. The one i see myself as is the father who is the pilot left behind. Not understanding at first and then coming to the reality that God had a greater purpose for him, hence his being left.
