Announcements of the open auditions for acts who want to be on the next season of America’s Got Talent have just been released. In early 2012 auditions will be held in Atlanta, Seattle/Tacoma, Houston and Minneapolis. You may pre-register today to audition for any of those cities. Every type of performer is welcome – this includes musicians, dance crews, magicians, contortionists, comedians, singers, jugglers, animal acts and everything in between – all of whom want to perform for America’s votes and the coveted $1 million prize.
The “America’s Got Talent” auditions are a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for performers across the country and the series’ producers continue to challenge potential contestants to showcase their talents in 90 seconds.
Open to talent of any age, “America’s Got Talent” offers a unique chance for anyone who has dreamed of performing their talent on a national stage. This is a great chance to show off your singing, dancing or any other skills that you might have.Kids under 18 must have a parent present with them at the time of the Audition. It is so weird…I have been told that I have a GREAT singing voice, but I never considered that to be true. That is until…my VERY near death accident in October of ’91. At the time of my traumatic head injury, I was the lead singer of my college fraternity rock band…by the way, my injury occured during a soccer game (I was kicked by an opponent). Anyway, since then, I have been singing karaoke almost nightly…winning several contests along the way! I am 40 years young but look no older than 30! Music is my life now-a-days and I would sacrifice almost anything to do it for a living!
