Ray Donovan- Showtime Castings

showtime

With “Boardwalk Empire,” “Tremé” and “The Walking Dead” all done for 2012, the Sunday night cable drama field is all Showtime’s for the next few months and they plan on taking full advantage of it with the new pilot series Ray Donovan. Southland’s producer Ann Biderman will produced the drama series and the network has announced that Johnathon Schaech, Kerris Dorsey and Ambyr Childers have boarded the drama project. Ray Donovan was one of three new pilots to get the green light under from showtime and the casting directors are now looking for several actors for numerous extras and supporting characters for Ray Donovan. This is a great opportunity for any aspiring actor that is waiting for their big break.

In the family drama about a professional “fixer” for the rich and famous in Los Angeles — the title character to be played by Salt’s Schreiber — Schaech (That Thing You Do) will play Sean Stevens, a major movie star with a mysterious connection to Ray’s past. As the go-to guy in Hollywood, Ray deftly solves the highly confidential problems of the city’s most intriguing personalities and yet he can’t quite escape the damage in his own troubled family, the pilot takes a novelistic look at contemporary Los Angeles.

Showtime is aiming for a spring premier and they are now looking for actors for several roles in the drama series. They are currently taking applications for union and non union actors ages 18 to 40, if you are interested in auditioning for Ray Donovan please submit your information along with several recent photos and a brief resume. Please keep checking back often for more information and as always leave us a comment and let u know how you think Showtime will do with their new drama pilot idea.

  7. Hello,

I honestly love this show. I’m from Boston so I can do the Boston accent very well. My age is 23 but I can play the age range of 16-25. I love taking risks, being spontaneous, and living in the moment. I can see myself on this show and I’d jump at the opportunity.

  8. well, just saw the casting info for new roles.
I am probably best as the wife who is afraid her husband is cheating on her..( true in real life he was)
I am from the east coast and was on the west coast and wondered about living there with a small child and a husband who was the director/vp of a cable company and directed operations for their channel.
But, in all reality my acting is natural, I have worked for a showtime role in Georgia and was bumped up after being called in for a role….I did not take many roles during that time in my life. I have been on stage since early in life, while in university an on air news reporter and co-anchor and a few on air video areas later. Most say I am a natural in acting while I have experienced much of this character in my own life….and the cheating was not known to me but I found out late and divorced..

Hope I might have a role again to make it happen…

    Love to all,
    Dianne Haynes

  14. Greetings to you, my name is Nolan Sherman and I am a young aspiring tv/film actor. I have recently just graduated from the University at Buffalo with my degree in business, but I have always had a passion for acting and the performing arts.

As for a description of myself, I am 21 years old with a brawny frame about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing in at around 195 pounds or so. I am in great shape, and have dark features. I have dark hair, dark eyes, tan skin, and have a younger looking face.
