Nickelodeon has given the green light for the second season of their popular Nick at Nite show starring Scott Baio See Dad Run. The popular live action comedy is about TV actor David Hobbs (Baio) becoming a stay- at- home father, will have 20 episodes in the second season and this is your opportunity to audition for the show. The show husband and wife creators who have worked on numerous CBS and Nickelodeon shows are now taking talent submissions for extras on the set and several day roles, they are looking for kids of all ages to apply so do not miss out on your chance. I know that it’s almost everyone’s dream to become famous and all, but i feel as if it’s different for me. For me it’s not about being on tv and getting all the money. It’s just something i really enjoy doing all the time. When I’m acting on stage for drama plays at school, I feel that I’m a complete different person and it’s honestly the most amazing feeling in the world.
When I was little, say seven or so, I used to get into these old Halloween costumes that my parents had from past years, and my sister and I would make a stage and put on a show for my parents. I like the show- not love. It’s missing a ‘home’ feel to it. Like what about adoption, or having your teen get her period and the dad has to figure out what to do. The kids characters are great, and some funny. However they don’t give off that ‘everyday’ kid characteristics. Have more arguments,maybe even get the dad involved in the arguments so that the show really portrays how difficult it is to raise children. Is the dad ‘open’ enough . Does he allow his children to speak freely? Does the family go on trips? What about adding other neighboring kids who ‘stir the pot ‘. The show doesn’t talk about real world problems like bullying or racism. What If the kids stole something? Or what If the one of the kids is the one doing the bullying? Since I was small, I always wanted to be an actress- bring a character to life. Those around me always said no, that there was no chance and I must say that I believed for a few years but now I think it is time for a change. The first season of See Dad Run was great. I have a friend in the show, Ramy Youssef, and it is incredible to see how well he is doing on the show. He is from my town and knowing that he was able to make it into acting and on such a great show really motivates me to pursue my acting career. Hi, I am fifteen and I am an actress at Roxy Regional Theater in Clarksville. I do have a lot of experience with acting and singing. I have been in over six plays this year at my school and at my work with the Roxy Theater. I absolutely love acting, and I would love to move my skills to a higher level than just live performing in front of an audience. I love anything that I get to do because I love acting. I’ve been asking myself what am I going to do with my life? What’s my one talent that is inside my soul. Everyday it gets harder to imagine myself with a job that I love. Having this talk with my mom a couple of days ago she tells me to go pray to God because I don’t know what I have in store for me. She said pray to The Lord and ask him show me what I’m meant to do in life and help me with it. So I took her advice and started praying.
