The CW has added The Tomorrow People, a superhero drama adapted from the 1970’s UK book series. The executives at the network have cast Peyton List from the series Mad Men and most recently 90210 to play the lead role in The Tomorrow People that revolves around several young people from around the world who represent the next stage in human evolution, possessing special powers, including the ability to teleport and communicate with each other telepathically. The show is described as being similar to Heroes and X-Men as the characters fight against the forces of evil. Casting directors at The CW are now taking applications for several roles in the drama series and this is your opportunity to apply. They are looking for both union and non union actors so do not miss out apply now.
Tomorrow People is in the vein of X-Men and Heroes and revolves around several young people from around the world who represent the next stage in human evolution, possessing special powers, including the ability to teleport and communicate with each other telepathically. Together they work to defeat the forces of evil. List will play Cara, the female member of the “Tomorrow People” group who has a sense of humor beneath her serious demeanor and seems to be a trustworthy ally.
The release dates and other information for the new pilot have not yet been announced but applications are now being accepted for several stand in and extra roles.
