NBC has decided to add another singing competition show to its already full lineup. The new show The Winner Is has singers of all ages competing in head-to-head singing duels in what is being called a vocal game show. The show will also have an unusual twist to it that recalls another NBC franchise “Deal Or No Deal,” can negotiate with opponents over whether to get out of the contest with smaller sums. The contestants will be judged by an in-studio panel led by a celebrity judge. After every singing duel round, each contestant will have the chance to negotiate a deal before hearing their fate. The casting directors at NBC are now on a national search for talent for their new show, they are looking for talent of all ages that think that they have what it takes to win the grand prize. If you think you have what it takes to make it all the way to the end do not hesitate and apply now.
In The Winner is the contestants will be judged by an in-studio panel led by a celebrity judge. After every singing round, each contestant will have the chance to negotiate a deal before hearing their fate. If they don’t think that they have measured up against their opponent, they can leave the show and get a reduced prize. But if they’re confident they performed better than their opponent, they can await the jury results to see if they’ve made it to the next round. The prize will increase after each round. There is no air date for the series but it will likely be for midseason or next summer.
