Tom Hanks Movie Casting in NYC

Casting directors are seeking male actors ages 25 – 55 to play court police officers, court room attendees, and other extra roles.  The scenes will begin filming on July 26th in New York City.  This is for an unnamed movie taking place in the 1970’s, directed by Steven Spielberg and starring one of the industry’s premiere actors, Tom Hanks.

According to reports, Steven Spielberg’s latest movie is filming under the code name of Nor’easter. The movie stars Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep and is filming in White Plains, New York starting next week. The movie is about the Pentagon Papers, a leaked study from the Department of Defense that “detailed the U.S. government’s military involvement in Vietnam.

Tom Hanks has been in the industry since 1978 is considered a legend in the movie world.  Hanks’ films have grossed more than $4.5 billion in the box office in the US and Canada, and over $9 billion worldwide. He is the third highest grossing actor in North America, and has earned several major awards along the way.  Tom Hanks is known for his collaboration with Steven Spielberg, so this new film will surely be another hit from the iconic duo.
