Akiva Goldsman will be getting his directorial debut in the new movie Winter’s Tale. Winter’s Tale is a magical realist work that is generally recognized as one of the greater pieces of American literature published during the latter portion of the 20th century. It’s somewhat comparable to the novel “The Invention of Hugo Cabret”. Goldsman was able to bring the budget down by at least $20 million and has recruited some A-list friends with whom he previously worked – Russell Crowe and Will Smith – to bring some wattage to a project that focuses on young leads. Warner Brothers liked the new presentation and has given Goldsman the green light to begin the rest of the castings. The film begins production in October, with Marc Platt and Michael Tadross producing. The casting directors are now searching for several roles for the film and this is a great opportunity for anyone that is looking to break into the acting industry.
