Rumors are reporting that Lady Gaga is being offered $4.8 million to be in the new Zoolander 2 movie. This time it has been reported that Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson will fight for Lady Gaga’s affection in the remake of the popular movie. Will Ferrell is apparently “keen to reprise his role” as fashion boss/evil genius Mugatu and that character has been written into the script. “There are things set up at the end of the first movie that we’re able to build on, like Derek and Matilda have a son, and Mugatu went to jail.” Stiller said back in May. “There’s a lot there, I’m excited about the idea of doing it. It feels like it’s getting close to going.” Filining for Zoolander 2 has not yet started but the casting directors are now taking applications for numerous roles in the movie. According to several article, Stiller wrote the script with Jen Aniston’s soon-to-be-hubby Justin Theroux, and like the first movie, the plot will center around models Derek Zoolander and Hansel (played by Owen Wilson)–except this time, it’s to be set in Europe. Owen Wilson also previously admitted that the sequel – working title Twolander, if he is to be believed – would definitely happen, so whether you like it or not, get ready for at least one Halloween of Blue Steel and Magnum.
