Mark Wahlberg is back! Director Allen Hughes is working on a brand new brilliant project called “Broken City”. Casting calls are underway for extras and featured talent on set. “Broken City” is about an ex-cop following the wife of a New York City’s mayor and find himself thrown into a larger scandal. Emmett/Furla Films, Black Bear Pictures, and 1984 Private Defense Contractors are in charge of producing this next hit feature film project. The feature is a crime-drama thriller and will be rated R due to it’s content. “Broken City” is set to release early next year and production is underway!
The main character, Billy Taggart, is played by none other than A-List Hollywood actor from “Contraband”, “Shooter”, “The Departed”, and the 2010 Oscar winner “The Fighter”. The cast is joined by Russell Crowe who plays Mayor Nicholas Hostetler that Wahlberg is following. Catherine Zeta-Jones is finally back on the big screen in her debut in the film, along with Barry Pepper who will be playing Jack Valliant. Kyle Chandler, Justin Chambers, and Alona Tal will also join the cast. There are 4 more roles, and tons of featured extra roles to be booked by talent. This fast paced flick is also looking to complete production very soon, so if you are interested in working with this great project definitely send your stuff in immediately!
Looking for talent ages 18 and up to 70 years old for various scenes. Looking in particular for 1 gangster type, 5 cop types, a female dancer type, and a couple school age looking people that are over 18 but look like they are in High School. Otherwise, talent of all ethnicity and over the age of 18 are welcome to apply. All talent should definitely send in the most recent photo of themselves when sending in your information. If you do have an acting resume that’s great! Save it for the audition.
