Finally Famous Casting

Finally Famous Casting Funnyman Chirs Rock has just announced that he will be writing, directing and starring in his new comedy Finally Famous. he 48-year-old will play Andre Allen, a comedian who wants to reinvent himself as a serious actor in the new film, which would mark his third stint in the director’s chair following Head Of State and I Think I Love My Wife. Filming for Finally Famous is scheduled to begin in June and the search is on for a love interest for Chris’ character who is described as “‘vintage, downtown N.Y.C. funky,’ with a lacerating intelligence and humor that is disarming.” They are also casting for  several stand in and extra roles in the film. Although his latest pretentiously historical film project is tanking, his upcoming television wedding to pretty, popular reality star, Erica Long, is the biggest media event of the year. In the midst of all the frenzy leading up to his televised nuptials, Andre agrees to be interviewed for the New Yorker by Chelsea Brown, a gorgeous but no-frills young woman with a sharp intelligence that matches his own. It’s a feisty, funny, no-holds-barred interaction that may well change the course of both their lives. The casting directors for Finally Famous are now taking actor submissions for several roles in the movie including extras and stand-ins.
