Disney-based Pixar returned to the drawing board with the return of Oscar-winning summer smash Finding Nemo 2. Also the Oscar winner will be returning to the big- screen in 3D September 14. Finding Nemo director Andrew Stanton has signed on to direct Finding Nemo 2. We have learned that Ellen Degeneres, who was the voice for Dori in the original film will be back for the sequel. The original fishy flick still ranks as Pixar’s second-highest-grossing movie, right behind Toy Story 3, and is widely considered the project that put Stanton on the map and the casting directors are now looking for talent for several voice over roles of Finding Nemo 2 and this is your opportunity.
A 2016 release date is apparently being eyed. We don’t know the official plot or have any details on the movie since development on Pixar films takes years. Stanton will focus on Finding Nemo 2 for the time being and has said that is going to be his only project in the next few years. The casting directors have not made any announcements on who will be in the movie except for Ellen but as soon as we find out more information we will keep you updated. If you would like to audition for Finding Nemo 2 please submit an application along with previous voice over experience that you might have. Once we get more information on the casting dates we will contact the applicants.
