NBC Food Fighters Contestant Casting

NBC Food Fighters

NBC Food Fighters

FOX has Hell’s Kitchen, ABC has The Taste and now NBC will have Food Fighters, a new reality cooking competition hosted by Adam Richman that instead of throwing meatballs and  mashed potatoes back and forth, will feature a  a top-notch amateur home cook facing off  against six professional chefs as they try and cook the same dish. Food Fighters host Adam Richman’s  love affair with food began early on, growing up in New York City and sampling all of the diverse culinary specialties The Big Apple had to offer. Many of you might remember him as the host of the show Man V Food on the Travel Channel. So if you have a signature dish you think can stack up to a professional’s cooking than the casting directors at NBC want to hear from you. Do not miss out on your chance to audition for Food Fighters apply now.

In a series of compelling, tension-filled showdowns, a top-notch amateur home cook will face off one by one against six professional chefs from every corner of the world. Armed only with recipes for their best signature dishes, and three culinary “lifelines” afforded each cook, they’ll square off against an expert chef who will have to cook the same dish. The completed dishes will then be sampled in a blind taste test by an esteemed panel of culinary judges known as “The Dinner Party.” After the two competing dishes are tested, the verdict determining the winner is given to the host.

If the home cook wins, he can earn a cash prize and get to face off again against another culinary expert, climbing a money ladder with increasing cash prizes for every professional chef he knocks out. If the professional chef wins, the kitchen battle is over.

The casting directors for Food Fighters are now taking applications for home cooks that think they have what it takes to win it all. If you are intersted in auditioning for Food Fighters please submit your information along with a  photo and contact information. Please keep checking back often for more information on casting dates and times and as always leave us a comment and let us know what you think about the new NBC show Food Fighters.

  3. Hello my name is ansley I’m 21 and I love to cook went to culinary school and would love to go on there and show my skills!

  4. Please give me a chance to achieve my life’s dream of owning a wedding venue/ catering commissary. Many people have told me that my cooking is delicious. I am a comfort food cook with a little Italian,a little Mexican, and a little country girl flair. Simple, but yummy!

  5. I would love to see a vegan fight. A good vegan cook would walk away with it, because none of the chefs seem to be able to do anything without eggs and cheese. It is definitely outside of their comfort level to cook vegan. I’d like to see a good vegan burger, a chocolate chip cookie, and a decent vegan sausage and “eggs”, a pizza and a lasagna dish for the dishes. Maybe we could get somebody like Claryn of “Hell Yeah, it’s Vegan”, Richa Hingle of “Vegan Richa” or Isa from “Post Punk Kitchen”. Of course, one can’t forget Angela of “Oh, She Glows”. What about it?

  6. I am a 21 year old boy with awesome cooking experience. I been cooking for a long time and my goal is to Cook good food.

  7. I’m a 49 yr.old home cook.I can cook lots of different foods.Who love to show of my skills and my love of cooking

  8. I have the BEST reason you will ever read to support why I should be considered for “Food Fighters,”- I want to win the big bucks….to give them away. I have been fighting my own battle to fund a community cooking education program that I call, “Kitchen Counter Intelligence.”
When I retired from high school teaching after 33 years-I missed the process of teaching so much that I started teaching free cooking classes aimed at filling the gap in cooking knowledge that is preventing so many families from cooking and eating at home, (and ALL its benefits.) I was lucky to be taught to cook at home by several generations of talented home cooks and I love sharing their recipes with those who have missed this wonderful experience. I truly believe that food not only nourishes the body, but also the mind, soul, and spirit.
My biggest obstacle is finding sites for classes and paying the insurance required to use places like schools, churches, fire houses, and community centers. My brilliant solution is a mobile kitchen classroom (catering trailer,) and here is where my need for $$$$ arises. My dream has a price tag of over $25,000.
Who am I? You might say that I am the other Nancy who lives in, “Up-State, NY,” believes, “Fresh is Best,”and in, “No frills, or fuss.” The difference is that the entire community is the family I cook for!
I am ready for a food fight. Just let me at those professionals-they will never know what hit-em!!!

  9. Hey Im Christopher Sanders and just tuned in to your show today and I must admit I am impressed. I have always had a knack for cooking but truly developed a passion for it once I reached college. I am 27 years young and really would enjoy the experience if nothing else. The feeling I get from someone saying how much they enjoyed my cooking brings me greater emotion than anything else in the world

  10. My name is Kalana Harris and I’m a 29 year-old preschool teacher. I would love to be on the show! I love to take a traditional meal and make it my own. Making my own recipes from scratch is always fun as well. Cooking for others is something I find fun!

  11. My daughter Susan ,a college professor and superb cook has been watching cooking shows since a child, is a fantastic good, absolutely beautiful to look at as well as my granddaugher, 9 year old Ava. they have modeled in our local newspaper in Port Washington, New York and would love to be contestants on your show…[Mother/daughter contestant] interesting twist on your show as it FOOD FIGHTERS is right now…

  12. I am a 15 year old boy from Utah, and have loved to cook since I was a toddler. I recently won my schools cooking competition with my Grilled Chicken and Marsala Wine Sauce and Spiced Chocolate Mousse. I would love to be on this show. It would mean the world to me. To me, cooking isn’t just a way to eat, it’s an art form. Every dish has its own balance, it’s own special piece of beauty. Also, I am a true home cook. I have never cooked for anyone but family and friends, which is exactly what you are looking for. I have always dreamt of being able to show people my cooking skills, but never have. This show gives me a chance to show America my passion for cooking, differing which is becoming rarer and rarer today. I hope that you will give me a chance to come on the show, it would be an experience I would never forget.

  13. I just graduated with my masters from Harvard, and the first thing that my friends and colleagues would tell my family at graduation was that I was a fantastic cook. I suppose some of the creativity comes from a year spent dumpster diving at a nearby Trader Joe’s and finding things to do with what was salvaged. The other bit of creativity comes from a confusing Chinese-Portuguese-Canadian background.

  14. You should be embarrassed as a network show for having Shariff Herndon cast as a “celebrity chef” on your upcoming show when he owes over $23,000 in child support arrears and is a deadbeat dad to his two children in New York State. Recommend you do background checks on your show contestants, not good character to glorify a deadbeat dad.

  15. Hi i’m Deatrice I don’t have much engaged to be married in less than a month(June 13th 2015) and my fiance, and 3yr old son and I live in a one bedroom apartment. In the urban community where high crime rate but very affordable rent exist, is where we reside. My fiance is a great GOD fearing man who provides for his family on an part-time overnight stocking shift at Windixie grocery mart which he walks to rain or shine 1mile each way. With no money to afford childcare for son so that I may contribute in monthly bills. We are definitely living paycheck to paycheck. While I do donate plasma twice a week to pick up some extra income, I always make my family feel great buy cooking with love a gift of GOD I was blessed with only by trail and error and guide from GOD. I believe this could be a great opportunity for my family to not only move into a more safer environment but help clean up our current neighborhood to make safer for other families in the same or worst predicaments than we. Please I ask just give me a chance my menu will rock your judges and cooks world!!!!

  16. Chef Royale, or Lizz as known to friends and family, is an amazing artist of food. I am honest, loyal, disciplined, and motivated, but above all of that I am a God fearing and loving mother. I am a family orientated and caring person whose love for the kitchen and food began early in life caring for siblings and later on my daughter. My father was also a major contributor to my niche for food. Being a chef in his own right to his family, all of his children have a love for food, however I am the only one who decided to pursue and perfect my craft. I strive to provide people many experiences through my food. With all of my dishes being made in and out of love, I can firmly expresses that I want every bite of every meal to be the “Royal treatment for the soul. “

I love that satisfaction and comfort can fit beautifully on one plate, and that I can be the person who put it there. My Life’s Dream is to one day own several restaurants, and with the prize money, that’s exactly what I would pursue! (Well that and stable housing of course! Lol). I’m at a very crucial crossroads in my life and this opportunity is Screaming My Name. In my family and circle of friends, I am known as the go to girl for something good to eat. 22. I am a chuck wagon cook. I have been cooking on ranches across the United States for many years. It’s hard to beat the taste of a meal cooked over coals in a dutch oven. This takes a particular skill to be able to prepare meals outside while working with the elements, wind, rain, snow, heat and cold. I have catered meals for large functions and worked with the PACE wagon during the Houston Livestock Show. Chuck wagon cooking is a dying talent and I am working to keep it alive. You can view my cookbook covers on my facebook page.

  23. I am requesting the opportunity for my wife to audition for your cooking program. We have been married for almost 41 years, and she still amazes me everyday with her ability to prepare meals/ She has won numerous cooking contest, and after winning the Texas State Fair, for her tamale recipe we opened our own business which was published in Texas Highways Magazine/ Lonestar Tamales# Christmas edition 2001, Lake Dallas, Texas. We have since closed, and retired but her love for cooking will never waiver.
If this spikes the interest of ANYONE that can give my wife a chance, and become a contestant on your show.

    Sincerely, David Owen

  24. I would love to be on the show because cooking is a passion of mine. I love cooking for friends and family.I love to see their face as they enjoy the meals i’ve prepared. If i was selected to be on the show it would be a dream come true

  25. Hi, My name is Dora Hill. I am a sassy, classy, fun upbeat, energetic wife, mother of six and grandmother of 12….And although you would never guess my age, I’ve been cooking for over 50 years. My cooking style is Classic Home Cooking with a Southern Soul flare. I love hosting dinner parties. My food is so good that people hide my dinner rolls at Christmas and Thanksgiving…and start stashing food plates to take home before the meal is over….I am super competitive and look forward to an opportunity to get into a “Food Fight” with your celebrity Chef. I am a true foodie…and home chef. I have never had a dish that I couldn’t duplicate and make it better. Let the Fight begin!!!

  26. Hi: I am 67 and have been cooking about 60 years. Cooking is my hobby. I love to make fancy desserts from cookies to cheesecakes of all kinds. My specialty is southern food like chicken n dumplings, at which people rave over. I can cook anything. I love to cook Italian foods also.
    Thank you.

  28. My name is Luis Duarte and im 29 years old from Los Angeles. I am very competitive with myself when it comes to my own cooking. Ever since I was 12 years old I have been barbecuing and cooking for my brothers, mom, dad, and relatives. I enjoy cooking cuisines from all over the world, but of course with my twist on it. Now that I am married with 3 beautiful kids and another on the way, I have found myself catering for my own celebrations as in baby showers and birthday parties. It has always been my dream to become a chef and now this is an opportunity to see if I really have what it takes. Thank you, Big Lou.

  29. I not a professional at cooking but I’m a great cook & famous for my chicken pot pie and my homemade bake mac and cheese and my pastelon, & my chicken teriyaki are a few of my dishes that everyone have come to know & love ,& I think I would be good for this contest

  30. Hi I would love to audition for food fighters, I am a home cook who is self taught from watching food tv and looking at pictures! I make beautiful cakes and have cooked for people like Mayor Villarigosa and Al Pacino. I have never been to school but I can cook anything, and it tastes great! I hope you will give me a chance to show you what I can do!

Making people happy with my cooking is the most gratifying feeling ever. My dream is to open my own food truck or reasturaunt one day. Last week me and my friend cooked and fed 84 homeless people. This is something that I would love to continue doing and the prize money sure would help out with that.

  32. I would love to be casted on this show, im currently in culinary school now and am always looking for new challenges. Cooking has been a huge part of my life since I was a kid, I love what I do and would love a shot. Please pick me

  33. I am a 42 year old mom of three and am also a professional commercial and residential painting contractor, a professional singer, actor and pianist, a bartender and a cater-waiter. I work for the company that runs the BEST restaurant in North Dakota – and I want to show the world what a home cook in the extreme upper Midwest can do!

I live and work in the border community of Fargo, North Dakota and Moorhead, Minnesota and grew up cooking. Although I am a person of all kinds of diverse talk wants, cooking is easily the most natural part of who I am.

I’m tough, funny, bright, kind, reasonably pretty and very, very competitive! Let’s have fun!!

  34. Hi guys I think I’d be prefect for the food fight challlenge because food is my passion. I’m from the Caribbean but I also use different techniques and styles to add a different fun and tasty spin to my dishes!

  35. I love to cook, a grill master. Italian, Mexican, Irish, Chinese, Indian, and American Comfort. I do a fusion that I will droop on the chefs that I go to battle with. I am 50 and have some cooking time under my belt. so bring it on, I will take down all 6 chefs.

  36. IT’S ALL ABOUT THE PASSION, I COULD NEVER UNDERSTAND IT WHEN PEOPLE SAY THEY DREAD HAVING TO COOK FOR THEMSELVES OR THEIR FAMILIES. I SIMPLY CANNOT WAIT TO TEAR ASS INTO MY KITCHEN AND START CREATING A MASTERPIECE. BEING OF ITALIAN DESCENT, I LEARNED BY WATCHING MY GRANDPARENTS, AS THEY COOKED FOR DAYS ON END IN ANTICIPATION OF A GATHERING OR HOLIDAY. FROM SOUP TO NUTS, I CAN PRODUCE A DELICIOUS AND BEAUTIFULLY PRESENTED MEAL, NO PROBLEM. I HAVE BEEN THE RECIPIENT OF AWARDS PRESENTED BY MY LOCAL NEWSPAPER WHOM HOLDS COOKING CONTESTS OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. TRUTH BE TOLD, I SIMPLY ENJOY ENTERTAINING FRIENDS & FAMILY WHO LOVE MY COOKING, WHETHER IT BE TRADITIONAL ITALIAN DISHES OR SOMETHING I JUST CONJURE UP WITH WHATEVER INGREDIENTS I HAPPEN TO HAVE IN THE HOUSE. I AM UP FOR THE CHALLENGE, AND WILL NOT DISAPPOINT. PROMISE.

  37. I’ve been cooking since I was 12 years old. First I learned from my mom and then from my aunts in Texas. I’m no professional chef but I know my way around the kitchen. I can truly COOK!

  38. I would like a chance to be on the show to display to the world my talent of making exceptional dishes at the drop of a dime. I want to show my kids that all dreams can come true with a little faith.

  39. I am writing to request that my husband, Bernard Greene, be provided with the opportunity to be on your show. He has been the cook in our family from day one. He gained his cooking skills from his grandmother, as well as from a job he had in his early teens at a restaurant in Philly. He has cooked for private weddings, church events, family reunions and family holidays. From seafood, to steak, to turkey burgers, to vegetarian meals, he has skills to pay the bills. I can say that because presently he is a personal chef for a family and it has been a blessing to all concerned. My daughter, who presently lives on the west coast, once said to me, “I often think about dads cooking and really miss it!” My personal favorite meal is spicy scallops on a bed of mixed greens. Additionally his grilling skills are off the charts. Although I presently am a vegetarian who eats only fish, I recall the ribs, steaks and burgers from the past and, from my experience, none can compare to his ability to season foods while maintaining the tenderness of the meats. I’m convinced he has the ability to woo the judges and win the Food Fighters competition. Thank you for contacting him!

  40. I would like to audition for the show because I have a deep passion for cooking. My specialty is soul food but I can cook a variety of dishes. My dream is to one day open a restaurant or food truck. I would also like to be able provide for my family and to make people smile because of my cooking. I love kids and my hope is to incorporate my love for children and food by starting a mentoring program to give the youth in my community to do something positive my introducing them to cooking. So not only will they develop a skill that could lead to a career, but also learn to cook healthy meals at home, which will give them better opportunities in life.

I look forward to your call in hopes of making not only my dreams come true but possibly many others. I thank you in advance for your consideration.

  41. I am known for my crock-pot cooking skills and my baked goods make my neighbors drool. I feel like am a formidable opponent in the kitchen, if a kitchen battle is what you are aiming for that is. On top of that I have fun disposition and a sassy mouth, who wouldn’t want to see me stressing out on television? Ok, so a lot of people wouldn’t, but hey maybe you will!! Get a hold of me and Let’s Get Our COOK ON! My ready bag is stocked with aprons, spatula’s and my secret family recipes. I will be waiting for your call.

  42. I have what it takes to be on Food Fighters! I’m a vegan home chef and also a food writer for a local healthy living magazine. I cook everything from comfort food to gourmet dinners using fresh local ingredients. I’m enthusiastic, passionate about cooking and have a sense of humor, too!

  43. Hi, I Love Your show!! I would love to be a contestant because I love to cook and have some delicious recipes that I am sure would beat some professional chefs! From my Catalina Flank Steak to my locally famous Poundcake I am the person for the job! Can’t wait to hear from you!
    Kristi Miller

  44. Great Show, love to see the amateur cooks go against the pros. I myself believe to be a talented cook and would love to have a chance go compete.

  45. My passion is cooking I’ve been doing it since I was 13. I have won a few local taste of the town competitions. While working at Greg Normans Australian Grill in myrtle beach I had an article written about my Asian wine dinner. I cook at home a lot always trying new ways to prepare dishes.

  46. I “second” what Gayle ReMine said…my brother’s no Joe Carlucci, with awards and official accolades (other than that from family and friends), but he sure is a fantastic cook. Thank goodness he was older than me, or for sure, I would have gone hungry as a child. Our mother wasn’t much of a cook…bland and limited was the extent of her cooking repertoire (and that’s being generous…although she’ll argue otherwise). Our father was a big athlete and self-proclaim “health nut”…nothing yummy ever came from that. My brother, John, became my saving grace. He began experimenting at age 12 with cooking and baking. He has evolved into (in my opinion) a culinary magician. I call him for all my “culinary emergencies” and recipe ideas. Everything he makes is from scratch and so full of flavor. I am confident he could give any professional chef a run for their money. Whether he is hosting a dinner party, or attending one, the food he makes is all but licked off people’s plates. Really, he’s that good. Not to mention, he has the personality to match. Funny, kind, jolly, and all-around-great guy. John Warnock is the contestant for you! (I’m writing without his knowledge, but certainly on his behalf, hoping to get him on Food Fighters.) Thank you for considering my big brother!

  47. My partner and i love your show, but my partner dreams about cooking in that wonderfull kitchen of yours please make her dream come true we will be waiting for a call.U won’t be disappointed i can speak on that all day.with the food she makes me oh just call you’ll see

  48. LOVE the show! But, I’ll tell you, I think I might have a few tricks up my sleeve to stump the competition! I have a strong, diverse ethnic foods background for a home cook, and I must say I know I can rock out some delish dishes that will wow the dinner party! I love to bake for my friends and family, and even make a few bucks with my gourmet cupcakes. I’m an energetic mom of 5, now an “empty nester” and need to expand my horizons on a challenge like Food Fighters. Dukes up! I’m ready!!

  49. My passion is cooking by heart – incorporating recipe ideas with my own unique spin. My cooking is usually done by taste and impulse as I believe the best cooks season just by knowing and from cooking with heart. it is not something you can measure with precision like in baking or be taught – it just comes naturally. Having traveled to many different countries and taking international cooking in my 20s at SchoolCraft College with Swiss born Master Chef Leopold Schaeli who ran the Machus Red Fox in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan (a gourmet restaurant most well known internationally as the restaurant where teamster Jimmy Hoffa disappeared).
I can cook a variety of meals from around the world that are tasty, fresh and unique. I also cook a variety of fusion dishes that i have put together in a cook book from my travel and dining experiences living in some of the best culinary cities in the world. It would be great to be on the show, to fund more Pals hard copy ecofriendly books and Ebooks for Pals Around the World – a 501c3 nonprofit that I started in 2009 that publishes educational books to help children and the environment. Pals Around the World books are sponsored in name by Children International and all books are donated to after schools and schools with special guest Pals Ambassadors from all different countries and cultures. Each Pals book is based on a different country and contain traditional recipes specific to each country. Given my travels and home cooking skills in the kitchen, I would love to compete on your show to continue to raise awareness for our work and to help children learn more about other cultures including their cuisine! Thank you!

  50. I am addicted to cooking. I spend every spare minute creating fun, tasty dishes for my family. I do not cook with recipes or cookbooks, I cook with my heart and tastebuds. Having no formal training allows me to cook outside of the book. My specialty dishes include prime rib roasts, anything smoked and my infamous fresh fish dishes. I would love an opportunity to go against the best chefs in the world, I’m sure I can compete. When I win I want to invest in a gourmet food truck so I can travel around and share my coking with the world

  51. My mother is a 79 year old grandmother that can run circles around any chef that you would put her up against. Believe me when I tell you she is amazing in the kitchen nothing like you have ever seen before. So we are throwing a challenge your way if you really and truly what to see an amazing home cook you need to have her compete in your food frighters copetition asa competitor on yor show.we hope to hear from yyou.

  52. My name is Carla Turbide. I am a Personal Trainer and a Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. I come from an Italian family and have been cooking for as long as 40 years learning from my Sicilian Mom, Anna. I cook Real food with Real ingredients…..nothing processed here. I cook part-time for friends who want direction In cooking. My passion, I also have done home party functions for crowds in their home. I never measure when I cook……..good cooks do not have to measure……but I always know how much to add to my recipes. I am in the process of making my own recipe book packed with life-long wonderful recipes and raising money for The National Multiple Sclerosis Society. I am doing it for many whom I know and I train living with MS.

  53. I am a seventy-nine year old women grandmother and I believe that not any chef that I would compete against could come close to beating me .So I am throwing a challenge your way bring it on .I think your show needs a different twist. We really need to represent the people of my era. Looking forward to hearing from your show.

  54. My claim to fame is I make every southern classic taste like moms from chicken to ribs and alot more old school dishes with a new twist make you want more

  55. My name is Kyle Brown and I am 26 years old, I work at a little restaurant in Columbia South Carolina I love to eat food but more importantly I love to make something great! I would love to be on the show and let the world see what I have to offer.
Thank you and I would be looking for your call!

  56. I love to cook, I love to eat. We entertain – often. I want my friends and family to feel ‘that was amazing’! And wait til you see my bartending skills!

  57. Terrific home cook who adds a great spin to traditional foods by creating layers of flavor. My dishes include everything from chicken and dumplings, pot roast banana bread to omelettes. It would be an honor to appear on Food Fighters.

    Respectfully,
    Daphne Myers

  58. Hi my name is Rabi, I am deaf and I cook very delicious and creative gourmet/comfort colorful homestyle (but healthy and somewhat Paleo) meals. I use only organic fresh produce and grass fed meats, and cold pressed oils to make my sauces to make it very flavorful and balanced to compliment my dishes. I only use fresh herbs to flavor my sauces and dishes.

My parents owned and ran a restaurant for around 20 years, and my Dad was my role model in cooking gourmet meals and everything from scratch. He was a very seasoned cook and was good at cooking comfort meals and desserts. He and his wife always had huge dinner parties in which they cooked most of the dishes for guests. I also have made my own homestyle dishes all by changing the recipe a bit and by experimenting and tasting the food until it tastes perfect or well seasoned.

Friends and family have commented on how impressed the were by the simplicity of my meals but how flavorful and healthy they were. I believe in making comfort meals but keeping it healthy and simple to satisfy the palate.

I would like an opportunity to be on the show so that I can showcase my own talents and creativity! My family and friends love my homemade salad dressing (its one of a kind and sweet) and homestyle meals (such as stuffed ground meat cabbage rolls, borscht soup, Thai seafood soup, banana bread (with rice flour/almond flour), zucchini/ground beef pesto or tomato lasagna, banana pancakes, and more.

I hope I get a chance..to inspire other deaf people who want to audition for shows and to showcase their cooking abilities! I really hope you will consider me to be a part of the show!

    Thanks!

  59. I’m a 21 year old aspiring chef that has a burning passion for cooking. I would love to be on this show to not only show off some of my favorite dishes, but to also hopefully help pay for me to attend culinary school. It’s always been a dream of mine to attend culinary school at The Culinary Institute of America but tuition cost have kept me from doing so. None the less, that has not put a damper on my passion for cooking. I cook for family, friends, and a lot of times I cook just to test out new recipes. It would be great honor for me and to my family to be able to compete on this show!

  60. This is right up my alley. I know I have what it takes.
Give me a call. I will be waiting by the phone.

  61. I am addicted to Food Fighters and I dream of being a contestant on Food Fighters. I have been cooking since I was 12 and it is a passion of mine; Blueberry Crepes, Crab stuffed mushrooms, Chicken Nuggets is just a few.

  62. I challenge any great chef you think you have….love the challenge because I’m the best a what I do and I cook from the soul. Southern and caribbean cuisine my speciality.

  63. My mother in law is a world traveler, she said I cook the best food she has ever eaten. I am a southern country cook. I bake bread and make pies to die for. My favorite recipes are pumpkin pancakes with homemade syrup. I make an awesome grilled steak. I am famous for my blackberry cobbler, make a great blueberry buckle, I have a truly loved by many a taco recipe.

  64. I have been cooking since the age of 7, I love to incorporate a variety of cooking techniques, authentic cuisine and more. I have made a few signature dishes, I am known for. I would love to be cast on this show. It would be epic!

  65. my in laws encouraged me to at least apply. I love tinkering around and experimenting in the kitchen. It is where I find joy and honor in serving my family and those closest to me through food. My strength is Indian/bengali food. I love to keep in touch with my bengali roots and culture by dipping into my wide assortment of exoctic spices and forming something new, whether it be a rich curry or a refreshing vegetarian dish with a zip of spice. whatever I am cooking, I consider it all joy.

  66. I’m just a regular mom that loves to cook!
My traditional Italian Mom passed down many great recipes to us and although she’s no longer here I would LOVE to kick some professional chef’s butts with them in her honor ;)
My other motivation… the money. This show offers some life changing amounts of money that my family can surely use.
We’ve had our share of struggles in the past and we could really use this chance of a lifetime to win amounts of cash that can change our future forever.
    Thanks!!
    :)

  67. I’m a home cook with a lot of pizzazz for great food! I’ve been on TV in Buffalo NY cooking some favorites, Buffalo is my home town. I had a food truck. I come from an Italian family, who’s love for cooking has been passed down to me..

  68. I wish you would put my mother on the show. I get the pleasure of eating her cuisine at least once a week when we have a big family dinner. These dinners are nothing but extraordinary. If we have steak, that means it is a lazy night and even then, she prepares gourmet sides and even makes her own salad dressing. Whenever someone has a birthday, we have the choice to go to any restaurant in Dallas, 10 times out of 10, we all request a special meal prepared by her. Not only is it made with love, but it is so TASTY, 3 hours later we are just getting to dessert. She never calls herself a chef, only a cook. I will beg to differ because everything she makes tastes fantastic and is executed beautifully. She would be an awesome and exciting contestant to have on the show.

  69. Hello there, I don’t quite type how I talk so I guess it what be Hey Y’all, I’m not to good at the typing lingo, but anyway I am a fan of the show, I would love to be a contestant if possible, I don’t really know how to sign up so I found this and said what the hey, but I’m a good cook, I’m not trying to toot my own horn but I have never let anyone leaving my house hungry and not wanting to come back for more. I have a new child on the way, he will be my first so I’ve been expanding my cooking expertise, I would love the opportunity to get to go up against some of Americas finest Chefs to have some fun, and also if I was blessed enough to win then help my Family. So I hope to hear back if I could be eligible for a chance to compete, and if not great show, and hope y’all keep up the good work. Oh, and it would be a funny kick showing a Dad homemaker instead of just all women.

  70. I’m nominating my husband to be in the running for our favorite TV show, Food Fighters. Abdel Fourari is from Morocco and specializes in Mediterannean cuisine, with lamb couscous and chicken tagine only a couple of his famous dishes. Learning to cook from his famous chef mom, direct from Casablanca, who so effortlessly taught all of her eleven children how to make magic in the kitchen, his humility has earned him accolades from all partakers of his fine gourmet meals. That is why I am honoring him by requesting his presence on your show. Recently having been diagnosed with breast cancer, Abdel has stepped up to the plate (literally) as our solo income provider as well as home maintenance supervisor in the lines of cleaning and cooking, along with caring for our four children, that I happen to homeschool as well. Abdel is truly a remarkable asset to have on your awesome television show, in the lines of not only being a fantastic chef, but a truly giving and caring individual whose unselfish family man status would be sure to attract the attention of all viewers, women and men alike, due to his charismatic personality. Thank you for your consideration.

  71. I am a home cook transplant from San Francisco, CA to Draper, UT. I’ve been cooking for my family and various “contests” for nearly 30 years. I have found that food is my bridge to communicate my zest for life and passion for living. You can only imagine how different Utah is from San Francisco especially for an Italian Catholic in the land of LDS — but I’ve used my ethnicity and culture in my food to “build bridges” with folks who were limited to lemonade and funeral potatoes. My award-winning thanksgiving stuffing, bread pudding and much, much more have won over traditionalists who crave my level of creativity. I would love the opportunity to take my portfolio and use it on Food Fighters to create a better life for my family. My husband has been successfully battling cancer for 6 years and we are one helluva team — I know how to lean in against the best and fight battles that seemingly can’t be won. Will you consider me?

  72. I think its really a great showbecause its people like that love to cook and have impeccable food that taste delightful but no funding to start our own MN busines. Cooking is an art that takes imagination of what someone else would feel eatingyour delicios food. The satisfaction of other through your taste. I appled for thefood fighters show. Shontal johnson 8187993202. I hope I get chosen to show the world exotic food tastes. Great show whoever cameup with this idea. Excellent

  73. I love to cook, I grew up with a family of cooks, I specialize in Italian , French and Cajun cooking. I am very versatile and make up my own recipes, Everyone at work tells me I should be a chef instead of a florist. I would love to be on your show please please please consider me, I actually believe I can cook just as good if not better than those chefs!
    sincerely
    Michael Rothman

  74. My home cooking style is from old school Trinidad & Venezuelan the traditions of my grandmother and my mother.

  75. Hi my name is Varsha I would like to apply for the show Food Fighters!I am a stay at home mom, I had lost my job due to changes and my disabled son! I think this show would give me chance to show my love for food and what I need to get my family out of the neighborhood I live in ! It will give me a chance to have fresh start and to open my store Varsha’s Venue and to leave something to my two boys without worrying Thankyou and hope to hear from you soon!

  76. Joe certainly has world renown culinary expertise:) Pizza is hands down my favorite comfort food. I would love to try his pizza. I live in RI and one of our favorite spots is Alforno in Providence, RI which has international recognition for their grilled pizza. I make it at home & it’s fabulous!

My “signature” dish that I would LOVE to have the opportunity to compete with on your show is my Butternut Squash Lasagna. I make my own pasta and prepare this glorious Lasagna usually during the Holiday season & also for special friends and occasions. EVERY time I serve this Lasagna I am told I should market it and or go into business to sell them. Since my life is chaotic with 3 boys and a full blown career cooking ends up as a weekend hobby when my hubby can take over the sports obligations. This Lasagna is a labor of love but well worth it!

I cannot wait to be on your show. The fall would be great since Butternut squash is in season!!!

    Thank you!

    Colleen Clare-Coen

  77. “Like Water for Chocolate” the movie that best describes my love and passion for cooking. As the eldest of three children with a working Mom
I started cooking when I was 12 years old. My first dinner party was for my high school boyfriend , Phillips birthday when I was 16 years old .
Growing up in Tampa , Florida there were many ethnic influences.
My family came to Tampa from Cuba in the 1800’s . My Grandfather opened a Restaurant near the cigar factories.
I was always hanging out In the kitchens of my Italian and Greek friends learning from their mothers. When people think of Siuthern cooking they think of Georgia. Tampa is in the South ! I can cook Italian, Cuban, and Southern with my eyes closed. People think I’. Don’t want to give them my recipes. I’m flattered they want them. Problem is I don’t use cookbooks or recipes!
At my house Sundays were always Italian. There would always be enough food to feed at least 10 extra people. We would always have
An outrageous dessert on Sunday. And oh the smell… The sauce would cook for hours. I loved to fill a small bowl with sauce and dip some Italian bread into it just to taste the flavors.
I still enjoy cooking for a crowd. My husband is a musician and we often have dinner parties that start with appetizers and end with at least 3 desserts. Dessert and espressos are generally enjoyed while listening to some great live music ! Check out my Facebook page. It is all about good friends, good food, and great music.

I have enjoyed the first two shows very much. I would love to challenge your five chefs to a battle ….
I majored in Theatre Arts but cooking is my passion. My friends all say I should open a Restaurant. When I win the money that would be my plan!

  78. Hi…
I have a real passion for cooking and have enjoyed cooking since I was very young! For so many years, my friends, acquaintances, family & co workers have always asked… why don’t I have my own restaurant or cook for a living… or that I should have my own cooking show… or have missed my calling!

Although, I have worked in many restaurants growing up, I never worked actually as a cook. For years, I have always wanted my own restaurant… & still love creating my own recipes… I’d have to say I have a good knack of flavor profiles for ethnic, as well as, many types of cuisine! In general…I just love cooking for people & sharing my love for food!

I am looking for an opportunity to do some competitions for cooking, throwdowns…and having fun also doing what I love… but also serious in the sport of competition, as well as, the prize winnings too! There seem to be So many great new shows for the amateur or passionate home cooks…and I really want to be apart of some that are still around or new ones upcoming.

Please let me know if there are any shows I can participate in … & of course, I would be so thrilled to be on!! Thanks so much for considering me…and hope to hear from you…very Soon with some good news!

“Tica” … from Largo, FL :)

  79. My hat is off for Joe Carlucci, but he got where he is at because of his tenacity, courage, knowledge, travels and endeavors to preserver. This really pertains to me. My passion is grilling. I spank the grill and it co-operates. Pasta and baking it all bows down to me. . I truly represent the home of (Lebron James) Akron, OH and my wife stays out of the kitchen and she loves the feeling. Joe’s success stories belong in the pro department. I’d eat whatever he cooks. However, my specialty is (no sauce) meats from the grill and cooking spaghetti. I don’t believe in adding a lot of sauce to meat on the grill, either it you seasoned it right and know how to keep it moist and tender or you cover up the taste of the meat with a lot of sauce and add insult to the game by baking it in the over to make it moist know count that as my title. People love eating my food. Would love to be on the show. I’ll be waiting for your call.

  80. Hello my name is Margie Notte I am a mother of 2 and a grandmother of a 7 year old..I am 51 years old have worked in restaurants since I was 15 years old.I love to cook have been cooking since I was a child. All my years of working as a waitress along with my Italian and Greek heritage has taught me a lot about cooking and food.I saved and saved for years and eventually bought my own restaurant but financial reasons and my mom being in poor health and in need of my help forced me to close after only a short time.I would love the chance to be on Food Fighters to prove my ability to my self and to maybe help me to get over the disappointment of loosing my life long dream..my restaurant. Thank you so much.and I promise if you consider me I will do a great wonderful job on your show..also have been a huge fan of Adam Richman for years. This whould truly be the opportunity I need to turn my life around. .Thank you.

  81. I definitley want to audition for this show, I have been wanting to throw down with a professional chef for years, and have been told by many that I could put them to shame, I will be watching every episode. I think the show is great, at least the home cook/chef has a chance, not like all the other shows where they pit Chef against Chef. Good Luck. When will N.B.C be holding Auditions for next year? I hope I get a chance to Audition

  82. Hi, my name is Jo Brannen and I am a wife and mother. I have a true passion for home cooking and I would love to be on the show. We live in Amarillo, Tx and have hit hard times. I truly want to start my own business having a lunch truck and I feel that the opportunity of winning the challenges would go really long way to get us back on our feet

  83. I am a mother of two, my son is a policeman and my daughter is in school to become a nurse. I love for them to stop over so I can cook for them. I have been on my job for 15 years! I enjoy baking and cooking old family recipes. There is NOTHING that I make that everyone doesn’t love! I would love to be a competitor on your show and to let the World know my passion and for the chefs to see that I am no one to play with!

  84. I was one of the final three of a holiday bake off on Livewell Network’s Food Rush. I was in the Cake bake off. I did not win.

I will redeem myself on Food Fighters…it is ” Go Gonzo, or go home”

  85. I will say this, i will put my centuries old family reciepes tried and true against any chef. I am certainly not a baker and i dont deal with molecular gastornomy, but tried and true stick to your ribs make you want to smack your moma type food. while im highly allergic to all kinds of seafood it is my most requested item Im going to wait for the CALL

  86. I’m no iron chef but I grew up traditional Italian than did my own spin to it adding new things creating new dishes my love fro cooking is at an all time high I would love to get on food fighters to show what I can do and wow some people so I can put money away for my children to go to college

  87. my name is Lillie. Nelson I’m from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and I would love to compete against the top chef, I’m just a home body everyday coke for my children husband and grandchildren, I know I can win the challenge please consider me and have a blessed day

  88. I am a southern belle from Arkansas. I have cooked all my life, learning at the side of my momma and granny. I love to cook and even though I have an extremely demanding job as a nurse educator and consultant, I find cooking relaxes me and I cook every night I am not away from home on my job. I have several dishes that people will specifically ask for and my specialities bring triple digit prices at fall festival bake auctions. Would LOVE to have the opportunity to cook on this show!

  89. Hi I’m a 25 year old mother of a 3 year and cooking is my first love!!! I am a business owner and stay at home mom who cooks 3 times a day. I love the look on people’s face when they eat my food. It would be a blessing just to stand up against these chefs who I admire. My love for cooking has also led me into the baking world since then I have started my in home business Candy Apples And Favors “Sweet Treats & Catering” where I make candy apples and all types of party favors for any event (nationwide shipping). I also cater events as well as every Wednesday I cook for my HUGE family for dinner. My daughter always says “mom your the best cooker”!!! So I hope I can show the world.

  90. I am a home Chef, My passion is food, all kinds, I also bake!! I have been making ppl happy with my cooking and my delicious dishes for many years. I am an Italian, but love to cook all different kinds of cuisine, I have my special recipes, that can’t be beat!!

  91. I LOVE food and I LOVE to cook for people! My boyfriend’s roommate is the head chef at Clam Tavern, and everything I make for my boyfriend, I make for both of them– because I LOVE his opinions. My cousin owns a restaurant called The Gas Light in Olde City, and I love bringing my food to family gatherings for him to try. Trying new things is so exciting for me, while inheriting family recipes is a whole new level of excitement. My signature dish on the show would be my Nan’s gravy. For as long as I can remember, my family has had gravy EVERY Sunday. No matter who tired their hand at it, whether it was my mom, one of my aunts or uncles, or my older cousins– no one could make it like Nan did! With a last name like Zambino, this is something you’d expect– amazing gravy! My family grew up in South Philly for all of the controversy out there of the huge “sauce vs. gravy debate”. I’ll never be convinced it’s sauce.

At 24 years old, I was finally given the recipe directly from my Nan, and she taught me how to make it from the meatballs, sausage, veal, spare ribs, or any other meat surprise we were feeling that sunday, all the way down to the gravy. This was very exciting for me to learn, and I share my gravy with everyone! My boyfriend and my friends love coming over on Sundays to eat with us, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

I even had a competition with my fellow Italian co-workers, where we had the Irish girl taste test all of our gravy. The winner was…. Zambino of course!

As a recent college grad from Neumann University for Secondary Education in English, it would be a once in a lifetime chance for me to have a shot at being on this show. PLEASE PICK ME!! :) I can’t WAIT to hear from you.

    Thank you!
    Cristy Bardle

  92. Well I’m No Joe Carlucci, but I am one heck of a cook. My passion is in baking. I bake breads and pastries daily. I am a retiree from the state of California and love to cook. Sounds like Joe belongs in the pro department. I’d eat whatever he cooks.
