The Pirates of the Caribbean star has signed up for the leading role in Wally Pfister’s upcoming film, Transcendence. Depp will play the role of a husband who gets sucked into en evil man-made computer. Pfister won an Academy Award for Best Cinematography for his work on 2010’s Inception and it has been confirmed that Transcendence will be his first project as director. It is also said that Christian Bale is also said that he will join Depp in the sci-fi flick. Production details are being kept under wraps, but filming is expecting to take place in LA over the winter and this is your chance to get in on the action.
