From actress to director Angelina Jolie is in negotiations to direct the World War II drama Unbroken for Universal Pictures. This will be her second film about war Oscar winner Jolie will direct.Based on the bestselling book by Laura Hillenbrand (“Seabiscuit”), “Unbroken” centers on 1936 Olympian Louis Zamperini, who, along with two other crewmen, survived in a raft for 47 days after a near-fatal plane crash in World War II, only to be caught by the Japanese navy and sent to a prisoner-of-war camp. The casting directors are now taking applications for several feature roles and extras for the World War II film. This is a great movie for any aspiring actors that are looking for their big break.
Hillenbrand’s book Unbroken spent 108 on the New York Times best-seller list, including 14 weeks at No. 1. The film is an adaptation of the 2010 book by Laura Hillenbrand (Seabiscuit: An American Legend) and tells the story of Olympic athlete and Air Force officerLouis Zamperini, who survived a plane crash during World War II and clung to life on a raft for 47 days. He was captured by the Japanese and served hard time in a POW camp. Jolie had to compete with several other big name directors to get the job.

Although I am very much into music, I have always loved to act and would consider it a major part of my career and life plan, but unfortunately do not have as much experience as I would like to in that department. In a way, I think that makes my performances more raw, and in certain roles that can be a very good thing. I can bring an animal real-ness and emotional honesty that must be shown through someone who desperately wants something they know they have to work extremely hard to even get close to, and I desperately want this.
