What gets better than Zac Efron on the big screen? How about Matthew McConaughey and Zac Efron, featuring the beautiful and talented Nicole Kidman in the feature film “The Paperboy”. The plot revolves around a reported who returns to his Florida hometown to investigate a case involving a death row inmate. Benaroya Pictures and Millennium Films is responsible for the production of the project. “The Paperboy” is set to be a hit in theaters and casting directors are still looking for more available photo doubles for all of the actors, featured extras, and extras for the film shoot. Director Lee Daniels is coming back for possibly another Oscar winning feature since his successful days in 2009 with “Precious”. “The Paperboy” has an A-List group of actors, it stars Matthew McConaughey as the lead as Ward Jansen, Zac Efron as Jack Jansen, Nicole Kidman as Charlotte Bless, and John Cusac as Hillary Van Wetter. Macy Gray will be in some of the scenes as Anita or the Narrator, and rumors have flared that singer phenomenon Mariah Carey will be responsible for the theme song “Mesmerized”. Matthew MacConaughey will have to put down his dancer and stripper skills from “Magic Mike” and take on a more serious role. The film is set to be released next year and is expected to be another Oscar for the winning director and producer.
Casting directors are looking for experienced actors for some of the featured extra roles which may require a line or two, they are mostly concerned with how well you look on-camera. Client is also working on booking photo doubles for Matthew McConaughey, Zac Efron, and Nicole Kidman as well as fill in for scenes in the film. Some talent may be asked to provide their own wardrobe depending on the scenes they are booked for.
