The two-time Emmy winner, who co-stars in the new film Smashed has teamed up with Dereamworks for their new upcoming feature film Need For Speed. Need for speed is inspired by a hit video game series made by Electronic Arts and according to the reports, Dreamworks was awarded Need for Speed from Electronic Arts after a bidding war. Filming for Need For Speed is set to begin early next year and famous director Scott Waugh who directed Act of Valor will be behind the camera for his new project. According to Electronic Arts, publisher of the game franchise, the movie adaptation will be “a fast-paced, high-octane film rooted in the tradition of the great car culture films of the ’70s while being extremely faithful to the spirit of the video game franchise.” The casting directors are now on a national search for extras along with several supporting roles for Need for Speed. This is a great opportunity for any actor that is trying to break into the acting industry.
Need for speed will revolve around a guy who soups up cars for a living is framed for the auto-race accident that took his best friend’s life. Fresh from a stint in prison, he seeks his revenge. The film adaptation will not be based on a specific game, but instead will be based on the overall series. Need for Speed is one of the most action-packed entertainment experiences you can find in a video game and Scott Waugh will be bringing the action to the big screen. This is your opportunity to be part of all the action.

I live in Little River, Mendocino County and am writing to express an interest in being an extra on this film. I was lucky enough to be an extra in The Fugitive a number of years ago though didn’t make it into the film I enjoyed it immensely.
I also have an incredible German Shepherd dog with a very sociable & interactive personality and wanted to see if film needed any doggie extra’s.
