  1. I have a passion for country music. I first started college right out of high school and once I decided to dedicate my life and follow my dream to be a country music artist, I changed my major to Broadcasting to finish out my degree relevantly. In the mist of finishing school, I am also doing whatever it takes to make my goal for music a reality. I have transferred to Western Kentucky University to attend school closer to Nashville, and am trying to make any connection I can with the country music business as I find time in-between my school schedule. I also karaoke regularly at every bar around.

  2. I am 30 yrs old from West Virginia I am a singer songwriter who definitely has what it takes. Done many shows even drummed and sang backup in a country band for 3 yrs. Ready for my shot!

  3. I’m 26, from Chapmanville, WV…I was raised in the country and my hometown is near where the Hatfield-McCoy field took place. I joined the Air Force out of High School and have a deployment to Balad, Iraq (2009-2010). I’ve worked a few jobs since leaving the Air Force, among those I have been a truck driver and I have worked in the Oil and Gas industry. I’m pretty good at drinking beer, but I prefer a bourbon when I can. I am about as country as you can get, I love my horse, love my country and I love to sing. I play music by ear and I can play any instrument that has strings…and I can play drums. I am the guy you want to call if you need to work on an old car…if there is something I don’t know how to do, I can call my dad and he will tell me how to do it over the phone and I can get your car up and running like new again!

  4. I would love to be a contestant on Nashville Star so I can continue to teach my 4 sons that it is important to reach for your dreams. My boys are my inspiration, my life and the best fan club any mama could ever ask for! I perform music from every genre, but especially enjoy Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood and Gretchen Wilson. I absolutely love to perform music with a lot of soul and a lot of attitude!

  5. I am so ready for a change in my life. I have several years of experience singing in church worship teams. Music is such a part of who I am, I’m somewhat lost when I’m not involved in something that lets me sing. My passion to touch lives through music is what i live for, I simply exist without it. I pine for a way to express my heart. I love to write songs as well.

  6. THE TOTAL PACKAGE! As someone who many people can connect with, I offer character, energy, and enthusiasm. Also I look good with my shirt off and a cowboy hat so that is a plus :) In all honesty though I would love to opportunity to sing and use my abilities to reach out to America and offer everyone a positive light in what can often seem like a dark place. Thank you.

  7. Singing, for me, has been my protector. I never wanted to sing, but it saved my life from a very young age. After I no longer needed it to protect me, it became my passion. It was something that I could do that made me…well, ME! ALL I did was sing and my dreams of making it big became overwhelming. As I grew up, I became content with sharing my gift with the ones closest to me, my babies. A gift that was passed on and I couldn’t be more proud. Now (only 36), I have been told I am too old to chase my dream. I wanted a chance to prove them all wrong…including myself. Thank you for allowing others to do the same, even if I never get my chance.

  8. I’m 29 from the the great state of NC,son to a beautiful woman who always went beyond what she had to and brother to two wonderful sisters. I’ve never had enough guts to sing for anyone but my daughter until not to long ago someone over heard me and couldn’t believe that was me. I’m not the greatest in the world but I do have a story to tell and a lot of life ahead of me. Just seems to me when it comes from the heart people feel it and that will carry you further than a handsome smile and a canary voice. I’ve always known I was ment for something special and with the Good lords wind in my sail I feel like I can do anything. If nothing else I hope this shows the passion that is still out there for music. Thank you and God bless

  9. I just want to inspire people through music to follow their dreams no matter what you have or don’t have and no matter how big or small like I did. I picked up and moved to Nashville when I had nothing to follow my dreams and I want to motivate everyone everywhere to do the same through the power of music.

  10. My entire life all I’ve wanted to do is sing, and inspire people with my story through music. I truly believe singing is what I’m meant to do with my life. I’ve been singin since i could talk lol I’ve never been afraid to go for what I want, it’s just the way I was raised. The only reason I haven’t been able to have a breakthrough with my music is because I’ve never been able to obtain the resources, but with a little help I could inspire, and reach my dreams! I’ve got a lot to give to the world and music is my nitch so to speak. I intend on bringing soul into the way I sing and passion most importantly. I promise you won’t meet a more determined, genuine got music deep down in her soul, outgoing, excited about life, kinda person! I would really love to be able to show what I can bring to the table, and possibly go from there. So if this could really be the show to make this girl’s dreams come true, you won’t regret it! I’m 21, I live in Redding California and I want to be your opening act!

Here’s a link you can listen to its a recording i did on my computer so its not great quality, and its from about a year ago but its something to go off of  hope ya like it :)

  11. I’m looking forward to Auditions just hope somebody there appreciates old Solid Gold Country

  12. Its like you read my mind! You seem to know a lot about this,
like you wrote the book in it or something.

I think that you can do with a few pics to drive the message
home a bit, but instead of that, this is great blog.

A great read. I’ll certainly be back.

Feel free to visit my website :: Individual dental Plans

  13. I’m a single mom of 2 who loves to sing. It’s the second part of my life behind my family and I was raised country. Not in the country so much but with country roots of eastern Kentucky. I can sing anything from Patsy to Reba to Miranda. Three of my many idols. I think I absolutely deserve a shot to audition for Nashville Star. I’ve been through so much already and this is the absolute break I need. You won’t forget me or regret me. :-) yours truly..Laura!

  14. Well, I have arrived, I “AM” the singer you’ve all been looking for, and have a long history to derive from, oh lord have I got a country life. I was born on Peachtree St. in Atlanta but the heartaches, headaches, and train wrecks since then have led me down the path of a well seasoned Country Singer. I’ve been to jail, I’ve broken some hearts, and my dog howls at the moon,,, I’ve sept in the gutter, and been covered with glitter, but my pick-up still shines, and Mama’s always on my mine, I sing Alan, Blake, Craig, and Tim, and I can make you cry when my strings are bent. Please concider me for an audition at your next callin’. Thank You, Dave, Peachreecowboy

  15. I have a friend who I believe could win the next Nashville Star if he is given the chance… His name is Donny Rowland. He has already written a lot of his own songs just need to get him a contract deal. Would really love to see him follow his dreams. Please let me know how I can help him.

  16. I should be considered for the USA-Nashville Star season 7 auditions cause singing has been something that i love to do. To be able to sing in front of fans big crowd are small gives u a rush that u can’t explain. I made a good audition for the Grand Finals in Nashville,TN in 2005 but was not able to make it.I am hoping that i’m able to go further with my Dream and not let it stop here.

  17. Hi! My name’s Sarah and I’m from a little town called Sparta, GA and I’ve always wanted to be a professional country singer. I love to sing, I love country music, and I’ve always wanted to Nashville. My parents want me to go to college , I want to audition and see want happens. If I don’t get picked, I’ll understand.

  18. Im now 17, growing up singing i dont know what i would do without it in my life. I would like to do something with it and love to get out there and put something new out there. Just singing in bars has been fun but now id like to sing to the world. I have only had one person to support my singing, my mom shes beleived in me my whole life it has always a dream of hers as well as mine to make singing a life career. I love it and would do anything to get that dream and if i get this chance i would work my hardest in showing i can do it. Please help me get get a chance and ill do my very very best to make you happy.

  19. Because im tired of seeing the same song with different lyrics. I want to be that person that sings and stands for something different let’s get back to awesome country music.

  20. I should be considered for nashville star season 7 audition because I love to tell stories through music, and well country music is real and has a deeper connection to the listener.I have experienced alot of pain in my life that I know will become a positive outlet for my work, and know that at the end of it all God is good and rewarding. I have been wanting to be a professional singer since I was a kid. I am a fan of all kinds of music. But I know that with the direction I want my career to one day go, country music is where I am gonna be. And work with great artisit like Faith Hill, John Rich, Dixie Chicks, Brad Paisley, Sugarland just to name a few. But the list is endless. I am going for more of a blues, but also incorporate a few of the other types of music I am a fan of, but nothing to crazy. But most certainly something new. I almost had a shot a few years ago with an independent label, but it didn’t go thru. I am hoping to get the chance for nashville star to return and finally get the chance to do what I know I was born to do.

  21. I should be considered for the USA-Nashville Star Season Seven Audition because I have been alot of places in my life and have been through alot of things in my life from a very small town to fighting the war after 12 years in the ARMY. I have nothing but country roots and sing all day long. Maybe one day I will get the chance for my voice to be heard and sing songs from things that has happened in and from my life that people can relate to!

  22. I would love a chance to audition for Nashville Star! I am going to be 30 this month and I feel like it’s time for me to stop taking the safe road. I need to do something different before my life becomes the same thing every day. I love to write and sing country music. I have witnessed some serious things in my life and I think my songs could inspire people. I really hope this show comes back. It gives people a chance, the ones who work hard everyday and don’t have the means to pursue their dreams as much as they would like.

  23. I just moved to Nashville and it felt like home from day one I love to sing and hope people like hearing me ;) I also am inspired by very simple things ,try to find beauty in everything and I do believe I have more kids than Loretta Lynn!

  24. I just moved to Nashville and it felt like home from day one I love to sing and hope people like hearing me ;) I also am inspired by very simple things ,try to find beauty in evesrything and I do believe I have more kids than Loretta Lynn!

  25. I should be considered for Nashville Star because I have the passion and love for this! Music, singing, dancing, performing..it is all in my blood!

  26. I should be considered for nashville star because i am an all-around musician. I am finishing up a degree in Music Education and love nothing more than to explore more aspects of music. I love to sing, in any genre, even though i have a natural “twang” in my voice. I believe that if given the chance, i could show people that it’s not what you look like or where you come from that makes a great singer, but only how the music cries out from their soul. I am the next Nashville Star!

  27. You should absolutely pick me to be on NashvilleStar . I love siging its my passion it was also my daddy’s dream for me to sing..he passed away last november but i know if i had the chance id make him proud., doin what we loved

  28. April of 2001 I sang to my wife on our wedding day mark wills “right here” an it was thefirst time I sang in front of a crowd but it was very exciting I’ve heard many people asked me if I ever tried to go for idol or americas got talent but never had neve until
now I honestly believe that I could be a great entertainer but just need to be able to get the chance…

  29. To me Nashville Star is one step closer to my plus size averaged dream. I sing like Miley cyrus and martina mcBride put together. I am a true southern belle needing the oppurtunity to prove I can be nashvilles biggest star I only need your help. Besides who could ever get enough of me Saying Hey Ya’ll ;)

  30. Hi, Im 15 years old. I love to sing and have been told that I have a great voice by many. I would love the opportunity to be a member of this show. And Show everyone the amazing talent I have. Im a very compassionate person! And singing is my way of excaping all problems. It makes me happy! So please pick me! Trust me, You’d love me :D

  31. Hey there, everyone is saying the same thing over and over……. But, I feel the need to repeat and say that since I was a small child it has been my dream to sing and everyone in the crowd sing along with me. I have sang in pageants, taken voice lessons, and now, my little chihuahua Rusty listens. I can sing, and I would love a way for everyone to be able to sing along with me….. thanks!

  32. Kelsey is 14 years old she has been singing from the time she was big enough to turn on music. for nashville star, she is very much a true country girl and loves country music her voice is like a angel. She has never had voice lessons but she is a natural and dreams of being a country artist.Music is her life!!SO PLEASE GIVE HER THE CHANCE OF A LIFE TIME.she has 3 songs on you tube look up Kelsey brown 100 on you tube.I think she would be a top country singer.THANK YOU

  33. I would like to be the person that brings country music to the next level. I adore country music and I believe that if given a chance to show my talent I will exceed expectations.

  34. My name is Becca Robinson, I am 18 years old and a recent high school graduate. I am from a small town in Alabama and it’s far from being overly populated. . I’m VERY family oriented, my brothers and parents mean the world to me. I am a dancer, I have taken dance for 15 years and I’m also involved with theatre/acting groups. I was voted most talented from my senior class. I have always had dreams and goals of performing -dancing, singing, and acting. I am a triple threat and will work my butt off/do whatever it takes.

  35. I should be considered for USA- Nashville Star Season 7 because I love country music. I am also a singer. The one thing I strive for in life is to be a famous singer. Singing isn’t just my life but, it’s who I am. It’s apart of me. And being on this show will give me the big break I’ve always dreamed of. Please choose me, this is my dream and if singing is taken away from me, I have nothing.

  36. Hey, ya’ll my name is Amy Lynn, and I’ll tell ya what… I could go on and on about myself, but I won’t. There is only a few things that i will say that really matter… I was raised country, and I AM what country music IS. I’m a USAF Veteran and I love my country and what we stand for. I was a USAF Tops In Blue Worldwide Talent Contest Finalist and my dream is to do a USO Country Music Tour for my military family with Toby and Trace someday. What I have learned in this business is there are singers and there are entertainers. I choose to be an entertainer for my audience, because face it, that’s what they’re there for- to be entertained. And honestly, ya either got “it” or ya don’t. Some people may have a great voice, but if they ain’t got the “it” factor that keeps you engrossed in their performance, you might as well go home. Performing is about being in touch with your audience, and feeding off of their enthusiasm, and reaching them on a level that speaking never could. I was a 2010 Ohio State finalist in the Country Showdown, and I am always looking for opportunities to introduce Country Music to new fans. I’d love to have the chance to perform for Nashville Star!

  37. I auditioned for the 2008 season of Nashville Star in Pittsburg and it was one of the best memories of my life. The experience was so rich and although I didn’t make it to the top, I am ready for a second shot at what I was born to do!

  38. Since I was a little girl I have always wanted to be a country music singer. My Grandfather inspired me to do so at the age of five. I am very determined to pursue my dreams. I have won several contests and awards. I would love the opportunity to be on Nashville Star.. I think it would be the beginning of a new start for me. I will never lose sight of my dreams and i hope to be considered for auditions.. Thank you….

  39. my name is mikayla sue trippe im 13 yrs old and i have blonde hair, green eyes i love to sing and dance so please contact me

  40. I am a 20 year old country girl from a small Louisiana town. Growing up, I was always taught to be determined and to listen to constructive criticism. I love to sing and have been told that I have a great voice. I would like the opportunity to showcase my talent. I love country music and I’ve been greatly inspired by the artists over the years. I love singing country music and I would really like the opportunity to take it to the next level.

  41. Hola!
Mi nombre es Nayade soy de Chile, pero me encantaria vivir en California. Soy cantante y muy buena actris.
Tengo 22 años, y ademas soy malabarista, artista callejera.
    =)

  42. I have been singing since I was 7 years old . I have also won a sing-alike competion of Garth Brooks and received tickets to see Garth Brooks live in concert (which by the way was awesome). I just recently auditioned for the X-Factor 2011 and sang a rock song but it made me realize I am not a rock star I truly love Country music and love the new and the old artists. I am 43 years (young) and I love country music because of the heartfelt songs and messages. If you do a Nashville Star season 7 I would hope you would not have a age limit and consider this old but young at heart singer.

  43. Hey there!
I am a 20 year old girl from a small town in Mississippi who loves nothing more than to sing country music. When I’m singing, I have so much fun and I have this ability to get the crowd going and get everyone to have a good time! I am very determined but also just a down to earth, simple girl and i think that I am perfect for Nashville Star!

  44. At the age of 15, I started professional vocal lessons. During that time I started acting in musical theatre and singing for small functions. After turning 21, I was asked to front a local country band called “Crossfire”, playing in Northern Idaho and Eastern Washington. After a few years of doing that, I was asked to front one of Spokane’s most popular top 40 cover bands called “Kidd Sister”. Throughout my 20’s I spent a large time on stage doing what I love. Now I am 30 and tired of making excuses on why I haven’t pursued that dream, goal, wish…I have had all my life. My look, singing style, and musical passion screams country music. Let this girl shine on your stage and steal the hearts of all country fans.

  45. you can check out some of my videos on facebook and even youtube if u want a sneak peek of the nashville star season 7 winner!!

  46. HI! My name is Tyler Garland. i am from a from a small town in south eastern ky. country music is not just about listening to the music to me, its a way of life.. i have been singin since i was a young child. i first picked up a guitar about a year and a half ago, and i havnt put it down since.. i have played in talent shows and even dance competitions at school and festivals in front of 500+ people.. so big crowds dont really bother.. if there is a nashville star season 7, it would be an honor to be a part of it!

  47. I have been singing since before I could talk. I love country music. Being on the show would mean the world to me. I would be able to do the thing I love most which is singing. I moved from savannah ga to clarksville tn. For the two thing I love most in the world country music and cosmetology. If you hear me sing you will know I have the talent and would be a great addition to country music

  49. I tried out for the last season on ABC, and have never forgotten the amazing experience, country music is my life, I love singing and entertaining, but was not really inpressed witht he way auditions went and have never forgiven myself for not asking for another chance and reading the expression on the judges faces. I would love to have the oppurtunity to try out again. I have long awaited for the show to come back, mainly because I do not fit in the American age range and feel there are many GREAT people out there that Love country Music soo, much more. Being a Nashville native and spending all of my teen years working at Opryland, I have kepy that love in my life for years.

  50. I should be the next Nashville Star because when I’m not singing I feel lost. The Lord gave me a voice and I think the world should be blessed to hear it. He shows up in my music and the world needs to know HIM.

  51. Hello,
I am a 19 years old aspiring singer. Even when I was too little to really talk I walked around humming tunes to myself; ever since then I have been singing non stop. I have been apart of singing my whole life; My life has been built around music, I was raised around musicians and I have a God given talent that I must use. I am a person who gives 110% if not more into everything I do. I have a shy yet bursting personality. So don’t get me wrong, I have no fear when its time to perform. My voice has a unique quality to it; I am very versatile, but I love country music and love singing the songs. I put emotion in every song, for I feel close to the messages of the songs I sing. Putting my soul into every word I sing is the only way to really perform. My work ethic is great, I’m very easy to work with and get along with everyone. I’m a professional at all times; I’m very responsible and reliable. This is my life; I cant imagine doing anything else.
Thank you so much for your time. I’m hoping to hear from you…
    -Katherine-

  52. Everyone tells me I can sing and I sing Country music better then any other type of music. I love to sing and it has always been my dream to become a singer. When I was 8 years old i wrote my first song my mom and grandma said that it was really good for an 8 year old i wrote songs till the age of 13 then it was just poems but people tell me poems are just songs without the music. I didn’t hear of this show until 2 summers ago when I was in my schools talent show my bus driver told me about it because I told her I wanted to be a Country singer. I’m kinda shy but when I get up on stage I sing my heart out.
    Thank yew.

  53. My entire life since I was a little girl I’ve always told my dad I want to be a ssinger and he has always told me to follow my dream, coming from a family who has little to nothing I never thought that could be possible its my passion singing but I never thought something like this opportunity would happen to someone like me. I’m blessed for every thing in my life if I had the chance to be on nashville star that would be a true blessing from god. I only pray I have that chance. thanks

  54. I am a 23 year old singer/songwriter who has been dreaming of this opportunity for several years, I came to Nashville to record my self titled debut EP in November 2009. I believe that I have what it takes to be a strong contestant that would bring the viewers as I do have a pretty fair fan base.

    Thank you.

  55. I’m the one Johnny Cash sung about on ‘THE MAN COMES AROUND’. And after hearing whats been on the show, I play better than all of them, and sing better than 80 percent. Sorry folks, but the truth hurts. If you think good, remember so does everyone else on that show. If you got comments, P.O. box 443 jefferson N,C 28640, please drop a line. For the record, I want to try out for Can You Duet, but, we’ll have to wait and see.

  56. It’s rare to find a specialist in whom you might have some faith. In the world these days, nobody truly cares about showing others exactly how in this subjecttopic. How fortunate I am to have definitely found a real wonderful web page as this. It really is people like you that make a true difference these days through the strategies they talk about.

  57. i love to sing…everything!!!!i have sang mostly country since i was a small child.i grew up listening to all the greats, george jones, merle haggard, etc…my mom used to sit the kids on the couch and sing patsy cline and tammy wynette,as i have done to my kids…all 8 of them. music is my passion. i would love to sing and make music for the rest of my life!!!!

  58. I so want to try out if they do Nashville star this year. I been a big fan of country music my whole life. Lol I remember my favorite movie going up was Pure Country. Mind you I was only like five or six at the time so I didnt understand everything but I understood the music. And in life when all else failed I had music. I can’t wait to try out, I been told I sound pretty good, that I have a Patsy Cline sound. Guess we will find out, that is if i ever get to try out.

  59. Hi My name is Victoria Blackie! I got what it takes and not like a dime a dozen. I wanna be the first Native American to appear and be the Next “Nashville Star”! I come from humble beginings but that wont stop my dreams coming true. I’ve been sining since I was in diapers and have lots of fans throughout the world. PICK ME hehe

  60. My name’s kaitlin daley, right now a junior in high school at the age of 18 and i have a strong passion for not only listening to country music…but singing as well!!! Ever since i was a little girl to my family, they thought i should become this country star when really i didnt know what i wanted to be. I always told them i wasn’t good enough and probably never would be. Yes from the past i went to different genre’s of music, but country always seemed to stay well where ever i would go!!! Throughout high school i’ve been in all the choir’s..and even in different music classes to help improve my singing. Also i’ve been chosen to be in the New York State Music Association, which is where students go and sing in front of judge’s and overall see how they did, and last year i was the only student from my school, in my age group to go. And another was i’ve sang in our towns festivals,Getting up on stage singing for our friends and family. Though i’ve never had a voice teacher, well besides my music teacher in school, the one whose helped me most is my dad..he’s helped me sing how real country singers would sing, it may sound corny but when it comes to an idol it would be him!!!
I guess through it all im saying i should be one to be considered for nashville star because my dreams from a little girl is wanting to come true..i love singing and i love country..im a true blooded country girl wanting to show people of the world what beautiful voice i’ve really got!
    Thank you very much :)

  61. I should be considered for Nashville Star Season 7 because I would bring a new dimension to the show. I love to sing and write Western Gospel and country music. I have an alto voice and love to sing the old songs and new, harmony or lead. Most of the people seem very young. I have jeans older than 17. I have a sense of humor and know that God works in mysterious ways. My husband and I met in a Fort Worth bar 24 years ago and here we are today working and trying to do the right thing in our lives. HE does have a sense of humor and we have come a long way on our journey but are content to know that if the door opens, we will not be alone when we walk through. Blessings. Cathy.

  62. I would love the chance to show America I have what it takes to be the next Nashville Star. I wake up everyday wanting to sing. Music is my life and gets me through everything. I’ve been told my whole life to stop dreaming and be realistic, but I can’t think of anything else I want to do! Give me a chance to prove all the nay-sayers wrong!

  63. I think I have a great chance of being the next “Nashville Star!” I have literally grown up singing and listening to country music. I have worked for years with a voice coach and have a high confidence that I have what it takes.

  65. I think I should be considered for Season 7 because I am a country singer. I enjoy singing everything from Heart to Garbage, but it always comes back to country. My influences have been Lorrie Morgan, Hank Sr., Reba, and George Strait to name a few. I want to bring back the twang that some of these newer stars are missing. I have been working on my Patsy Cline and Brenda Lee at the local VFW, and would love to show the world what I can do :)

  66. Hi! I am Taylor Marie Lewis, and I am 19yrs old. I have dreamed of being a country singer since I could talk. I have been raised around country singers and music all my life, as most little girls, Faith Hill was my idol. I would love the opportunity to show my talent to the world. Please accept my request for an audition with Nashville Star. I know, with this opportunity, I can make my dreams come true! Thank You!!!

  67. Hi! I’m Taylor Lewis, and I am 19 yrs. old, and I love to sing! For the most part, I sing Country Music, but I can sing all genre’s. I come from a family of singers and music lovers, so I have been raised with country music. I have wanted to be a Country Singer since I could talk. Like most little girls, Faith Hill was my idol. I know that , if given the opportunity, I would be a wonderful Nashville Star! I would work hard, as to never dissappoint Country Music and fans. I would love the opportunity to audition for Nashville Star and show my talent to everyone. Thank you!

  68. My name is Jillia Cox, I am 23 years old, and I love to sing country music! I have been singing since i was a little girl! I love to sing and dance to country music. Singing country music has been a dream of mine since I can remember. Everytime I go to a concert or see a band playing, or even watch a show that involves music, I always get so inspired to perform. I know I can be great at this if given the opprotunity and I believe Nashville Star would be a great chance to use my talent to it’s full advantage! I would really love to audition and use the talent that God has blessed me with. Thank you so much! God bless.

  69. Im a oil field mechanic from texas, and country music runs through my veins. Ive got a deep voice that many believe will make me a lot of money some day. I can only pray that i get that far. 70. I cannot stress how important an audition on Nashville Star would be for me. I’m originally from Cape Town, South Africa, caucasian, blonde, blue eyes. I have taken every singing opportunity by the horns since I have moved to America when I was 12 (I’ve been singing since I was 6).Ohh geeez, I need this. It would mean so, so much to me if I got a chance to show the world my God-given talent. Please keep me posted on any upcoming auditions. xx

  71. Ever since I was a little girl and began to dream of what I wanted to become, music and singing has always been in my heart. I never had the “drive” from my parents or family to go out there and try to turn my dream into reality, but now that I am 22 years old and have a mind and WILL of my own, I am going for it!! Music is a HUGE part of my life– and when I say “HUGE” I mean MAJOR!! There is not a day or a situation that I do not turn to music to get me through what ever may be going on at the moment. It can be a great or absolutely horrific moment, music gets me through it.
I sing solos at my church and I LOVE IT!!!!!
Please allow me to come to the auditions to show you all what kind of gift that God has given me, and hopefully allow me to show the world as well!! :)
    Thank you so much!!!!! :)

  72. I can sing and line-dance. I LOVE to sing. It has been my passion ever since i can remember. I wanted to have hair like Crystal Gail and sing like Barbara Mandrel. Lol. I am able to sing a variety of songs from Reba McEntire, The Judds, Shania Twain and many more. I am also a true country girl from West by God Virginia. Born and raised here i love to run around bare foot n ride bikes as well as drive trucks through the mud. Not afraid to get dirt under my nails so i am NOT afraid to do whatever it takes to be the next Nashville Star. Opportunity of a lifetime that i would love to be a part of. My love has always been music. I can also play the fiddle. Took Suzuki method lessons for eight years. Music is my getaway from stress and everyday reality. Thank you for your time in reading this and praying for season 7 if i am part of it or not. My appreciation goes out to the producers of Nashville Star. Keep the show going for all of ua talented people who would never been heard of if not for you. :-). Thank you!!!

  73. I am 17 years old and music is a passion of mine. It’s not so much a matter of being the next big thing in country music (although that would be awesome), rather just another opportunity to advance in what I love to do and would do whether I’m paid for it or not. Even as young as I am, I have a tremendous respect for the roots of country music including artists such as Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, George Jones, and Johnny Cash just to name a few. They put heart into country. I also love to perform today’s country and am very inspired by Taylor Swift’s songwriting and Martina’s amazing vocals! I just want the opportunity to do what I love for the awesome fans of country music!

  74. I would love the opportunity to audition, as I know that it is something I could do, and do it well. I hope there are auditions this year. It would be great to see the show on air again.

  75. I should be on Nashville star because singing is my passion and I’m good at it. God blessed me with a voice and I want to share music with everyone.

  76. Hi, My name is Meranda Dawson. I’m 20 years old and i sing and play guitar. I’ve been writing songs since I was 16, same with guitar. When i was 17 i was entered in our county fair competeition called perry county idol and took home $2,500 first prize. Ever since then thats all i wanted was country music. When i turned 18 and graduated from high school ,i moved to Nashville by myself for 2 years working 2 jobs and just getting to know a lot of great people. when i moved back to my home town i started a band with my sister and my fiance called The DawsonCooper Band. We play every friday and saturday every weekend and sundays in the summer. i would love to be apart of something bigger. it would be cool if there was an audition for Trio’s. Either way I’ll be there to audition when the season 7starts :) thanks for listening

  77. At the age of 30, I’ve so far won over 10,000 dollars in cash and prizes singing country music in karaoke contests but I don’t like singing karaoke, I want something more. I’ve had people who have spent their entire lives in the music industry telling me I need to pack my bags asap and head to nashville. I recently started to take them seriously. Performing is in my blood and after having a music/voice tracher for a dad, I think I’m ready to take the next step!

  78. My name is Leigh Ann Frederick, I’m 17 years old, from Chicago. All my life I’ve been singing. I sing everything: cool jazz, Italian Arias, musical theatre, and church hymns, but nothing feels as right to me as country music. I love how the lyrics tell a story, how the music makes sense, it isn’t offensive, and the songs honor our amazing nation… now who wouldn’t want to be a part of something as cool as this? My passion fuels me, I think that I could be your next Nashville Star! Oh, I’ve been to Nashville and it feels right to me too!

  79. My name is Mark A. North. I would like to make a living as a country music singer. I am in my fourth decade in this life and I feel my time for dreams is running empty. Now that I live in Tennessee, the home of country music, there appears to be no better time like the present. I have been an artist all my life. I made a living as a Graphic Artist for 21 years. I would now like to express my artistic desire in song. Will someone out there help me to achieve this latest goal of mine, this late in life? Please email me. Thank you, whomever you are…

    –Mark

  81. Hey all, I’m Kat West. I was born and raised in Boston Ma. I am 20 years old, and I am a singer. I attend Berklee College of Music. It’s a truly amazing school and its always been my dream to go there, but I don’t think its helping me further my career as a country singer. Berklee’s mainly devoted to jazz and r&b. I have never had formal vocal training before but dont let that discorage you, I never did, I got into the number one contemporary music school in the world. You will never see me when I am not singing. I have never for even a second considered going down another path in life. My voice is everything to me, and if Nashville Star is a way that my voice can be heard then I will put everything that I have into becoming the next Nashville star. I think that I should be considered for an audition for the 7th season of Nashville Star because I WILL be a professional musician, and I think I have a lot to offer America and country music through my voice. Thank you so much for your time.
    Kat West

  82. Hi, my name is Joseph Webb. I’m 17, and I live in Cartersville, Georgia. I have a great love for country music, and all the history behind it. I visited Nashville recently and fell in love with it. While I was in Nashville, I visited the Grand Ole Opry and was blew away. It was probably the greatest time of my life. I have loved music all my life and I have always had a dream for singing on the big stage. I play guitar and I can cover most country songs. I also have a few I have written. I would love to have this opportunity to show America what I have. I know it’s hard to make it in the country music buisness, but I would love to have a shot. Thanks and maybe I’ll recieve an email back. God Bless !!

  83. I’ve been singing since I was around seven. I want nothing more out of life but to become a country singer. There are many country singers that have influenced me to sing. I really love the older country music, and some of the new. So I hope I get a chance to show everyone.

  84. Hi, i think i should be chosen for the auditions because i believe i have what it takes to become the next Nashville star. low baritone voice, good looks, and stage presence are all part of my package. i have over 12 years of live shows experience. i like to work the crowd and i can also bring tears to the audience’s eyes. i write some of my own songs, i play guitar, bass, and drums. being 39 yrs old gives my voice more maturity than when i was younger. my dream to go to Nashville and make music for a living has been with me since i was 13 years old. If i had the chance to audition for Nashville star, i would practically park my big rig, drive to Nashville and wait for my turn to audition. I WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN!!!
    THANK YOU!!!
    Mike LeBlanc
